This cruise was an amazing and refreshing time for us! We were truly able to unwind and enjoy some time away together. The kids club allowed us to have 'adult only' time as well. I highly recommend Princess Cruises and this ship for traveling with a family. CABINS: Are well thought out and comfortable. Our boys stayed in an interior room and I was able to get them organized for the whole week on day one. It was great! DINING: The food was FANTASTIC. The bread and rolls were soft and warm. The buffets were plentiful and delicious. The deck options were delicious and easy grabs for the kids during the day. (pizza/burgers/ice cream) DRINK PACKAGES: My kiddos loves getting the mocktails and feeling a little special the whole week. EMBARKATION/DISEMBARKATION: Easy peasy! On the ship in maybe 10 minutes, including needing to get a medallion for my 3 year old. Disembarkation was just as easy, they said 9am, and we were getting off the ship at 9am. I love punctual! KIDS THOUGHTS: I traveled with a 3, 10, and 17 year old. All of them had a blast and are already talking about wanting to go again. They LOVED it. The staff were incredibly gracious with them. When my 3 year old fell asleep at dinner...more than once ha!...they brought 2 dining chairs to put together as a bed. Princess continues to miss the mark. The Medallion App is a complete failure. It was a constant challenge to log in, it displayed the wrong time, and you are constantly having to reset wi-fi. They need to fix it! However - having the medallion to open your cabin door is a positive. Cabin's are starting to look 'tired'... the carpet in our cabin was stained and looked terrible. TV stations never worked - even the bridge cam was out most of the time. The music in the lounges is getting louder and louder. Its difficult to have a conversation when the piano player has their speakers up as loud as they can. Same with the Movie Under the Stars - you can turn the sound down ... we heard it all the way in the Sanctuary at the front of the ship! We choose to cruise Princess for a reason, if we wanted a loud, drunk crowd, we would cruise Carnival! Read Less

We postponed an earlier cruise on Princess because of a medical concern for my wife. We had not been on a Princess cruise in a while; and we found out why when we went on this cruise. There was no way that we would consume enough alcohol to make the "package" worth while. However, when we saw the prices of a so-so bottle of wine, we wished that we had not gone on a Princess cruise again. The real complaint was that every one of the balconies above us stuck out far enough that we had absolutely no privacy. Anyone on their balcony could see us as we sat on the balcony chairs and even in the cabin. Also there was so much rust on the ship, you had to be careful not to rub against it as you turned around a corner. The food was mediocre at best. We liked some of the musicians (those who played dancing music). The gym was ok, but the equipment was not well maintained. Internet was terrible. Your Medallian Class required us to completely re do our internet capabilities on our devices. I should never have bought an internet package...it was worthless and the frustration level it caused me was beyond description...and the guy at the internet office could barely speak English...and he spent a total of about 10 minutes trying to get me connected...and I never did. As I said several times before (both on ship and afterwards, I will never go back on Princess Cruises. Oh yeah, we've been on over a year's worth of cruises with Princess. But never again.
