I have been doing the Cruise yearly with the Finesse Ladies group and it's the highlight of my year! We book yearly before we get off for the following year and it's a habit that we will continue to do as long as possible! My mom passed away on the 6th February this year and I enjoyed the quiet time on the deck to make peace with the big loss I encountered! Me and my friends enjoyed all the facilities on board and during the day - lunchtimes enjoyed the spread of food available on the upper deck. In the evenings we enjoyed the spectacular shows / bingo and of course the Casino! The restaurant we had our bookings with, were excellent with a delicious spread of foods for the connoisseur. We did not have the privilege this year due to bad weather to go to the island, but with all the activities, really did not miss it this year - although it always is a highlight to swim in the sea and to enjoy! Thanks MSC! Read Less

The boat is beautiful and the facilities good, but the catering was of the lowest standard I have even seen on any cruise. The buffet was a disaster. The cocktail were watered down and the service was poor in the deck bars. The Savannah Bar was the best bar on the boat and I enjoyed it. The casino service was non existent. As a Silver Member I was extremely disappointed in the fruit basket in our cabin. I might as well have gone to the buffet restaurant and fetched fruit from the server. The only thing that I can really praise was our cabin server, Mohamed. He was the best thing on the boat as his service was of the highest standard. There was not sufficient supervision on the pool deck. People were sitting in the hot tubs for hours at a time. I will NEVER do a South African cruise again! Read Less

our main reason for undertaking the cruise was to visit the Portuguese Island, unfortunately because of the weather we were not able to. Embarkation/Disembarkation reasonably smooth Ship - very good Cabin - Reasonable, bit small , bedding not good Dining - dinner service very good (table 625 -Mahendra and Vicky) variety/choice of foods not very good. Breakfast/Lunch not adequate seating - our opinion second resturant should be opened. Entertainment/Activities good Shore excursion most disappointing of cruise, though not ship/staff fault, as issue was weather. This was our worse cruise mainly because of weather and/or tide issues. Unfortunately do not have anything to add. Read Less
