We choose this cruise because of the itinerary. There was only one sea day and the rest were ports of call with beautiful beaches. We booked and Grand Suite, 7928, and it was perfect. We even got new furniture for the room in one port. The A/C worked very well, first time ever we turned the thermostat up because it was too cold. The bed and linens were exceptional in quality. The food was incredible, sampled several different dishes, always found something great. The worst part was the entertainment, which we already were aware of, so not disappointed. The day of the dancing waiter is past. We had anytime dining and one night they could not serve us our entree due to the Show. I felt so sorry for this poor people, you could tell they were so over worked and then have to "perform". We choose two excursions thru Carnival, both were wonderful, and we felt very safe. We choose to self disembark, the fastest we ever have been off a ship. If you do the research you will not be disappointed and the price is the cheapest out there. Read Less

This is our third cruise and I couldn't be more happier with the service we received. This is the first time we stayed in a balcony suite and we weren't disappointed with how spacious the cabin was and the great ocean view from the balcony. Our Cabin steward Michael made our trip so much more stress free by making sure all our requests were met throughout the week. The food was amazing with tons of variety and a 24 hour burger and pizza station. My sister is special needs and I couldn't be more happier with the kind treatment we received. They helped us with her wheelchair coming on and off the ship and made sure that she was comfortable when we dined at the restaurant. It was mom and sister's birthday and they gave my sister a free picture frame and my mom a free spa experience worth over 50 dollars, as well as singing happy birthday for both of them in the restaurant. The shore excursion that I would recommend as being the best is the dolphin encounter at ocean world Dominican republic. The staff helped make the experience so much more pleasant and the price for photos and the video of the dolphin swim was not that expensive and very much worth every penny spent. Anyone travelling with a special needs person or has a disability I would recommend this cruise ship; you won't be disappointed with the amazing treatment. The entertainment was phenomenal, every night we had a great show to see. One of the cleaner's in the buffet named Aillen always made sure to greet us anytime we saw her and always had a big smile on her face. I will totally recommend this cruise to anyone who wants great food and entertainment as well as a friendly staff that is there to help you feel right at home. :D Read Less

wanted to try a different ship and port......conquest was nice... staff friendly....food ok-with exception of the steak house!!!! It was over the top!!! the prime steak house was very nice wait staff very eager and helpful food was out of this world!!!! The chef came to the table and I could not have been more pleased!!! The "art of dessert" was fantastic!!! we will do this again! This meal would have cost more than $200.00 back home...Book early and enjoy! The Barbeque was not to my liking...On the Magic it was fantastic ...don't know what happened here on the conquest. I thought that the quantity of the food offered at the blue Iguana was lacking..two pieces of chicken on a burrito and five shrimp in a bowl come on. The spa was fantastic!!!! a young lady from south Africa gave me the men's day at the spa with a professional shave and haircut facial and massage..IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOOD! Casino was ok at first and too smoke filled for me so, after one evening there I did not return....cant there a smoke free cruise? Read Less
