We chose this cruise because of the time of year (tulips in bloom in Amsterdam). We had also heard good things about Croisi so we thought we would give them a try. The planned route of the tour took us to all of the places we wanted to visit along the Rhine. The food was excellent as was the service. We were amazed at how stable the boat was throughout the entire cruise. We passed many ships heading both upstream and downstream and never felt any motion or roughness from their wakes. It was hard to tell whether the boat was moving or moored unless you opened a curtain and looked outside. At one stop, we moored next to a Viking Boat which was at least a third if not half again as long as our boat. I can't imagine that they had a better ride than we did. The service was exceptional and the people very friendly and helpful. We will definitely look at taking another Croisi Cruise in the future. Read Less

We came upon this cruise through the tour company we use in Los Angeles and decided to join. We embarked in Passau, Germany and meandered through one of the most beautiful rivers in the world to Budapest, Hungary. Our cabin was a tad small particularly the bathroom, but it served the purpose. We were well taken care of by the crew members and were specially pleased with the fine dining experience throughout the trip. Lunches and dinners were mostly 3 courses and beautifully served with paring wines. Staff was efficient and courteous, especially, when some of us had special dietary requirements. Though we were only a handful of non-French speaking group, the crew made sure we understood the announcements (French followed by English). Shore excursions were also arranged for our English speaking group and all the guides spoke perfect English. The only misgiving we had was the lack of accommodations for those with physical disabilities. When on shore excursions, most able bodied passengers simply ignored some folks in our English speaking group with visible disabilities. They would hurry to get on the coach and took all the front seats thus making it very challenging for those with limited physical abilities to make it to the remaining seats in the back of the coach. I am not sure if they take physical disability in France as seriously as we do in the States but it is the fact that simply can't be overlooked. Other than that, we had a near perfect experience during the cruise and appreciated all the work the chef, and the entire crew did to make our trip a pleasant and memorable one. We look forward to joining another one of Croisi's cruises and hope the cruise line would also aggressively expand its marketing efforts to the West Coast to make it easier for us to make direct bookings. Thanks again! Read Less

The ship itself was nice and clean. Our cabin was a decent size. The beds were extremely comfortable!! We had the upper French balcony. The food was excellent except for the breakfast. There were either very soupy scrambled eggs or boiled. I thought there would be more pastries. There just wasn't much variety. We went in april-the Amsterdam to Antwerp cruise. You couldn't see much scenery-being it is so flat and usually built up along the canals. They usually had the top sun deck closed off. They did let us up there when we asked-when we were going through the locks. The gift shop was only open for about 1 hr. a day and it was total chaos. So you couldn't even look at anything. We were English speakers along w/ 6 others on the ship. It was not an issue other than sometimes ordering drinks. Embarking was very smooth and fast. Staff were helpful. Not much to do on the ship but fine for a short river cruise. On ours there was not a mix of ages if that is important. The excursions were good and well run. The bus they used was very nice.
