Chose this for the Eastern Mediterranean itinerary. The itinerary did NOT disappoint and it was everything we had hoped it would be. LIKES: *The Captain and crew *Dining - Food in the MDR ranged from very good to excellent on a few nights. *Service - Excellent service from our Cabin Steward, Richard. Best steward we have had so far. Dining servers at Table 144 each evening pretty good. The assistant server got rather lax on getting coffee served WITH dessert and it started coming well after desserts had been eaten. Mentioned to the head server, Suraj on the last night and coffee arrived WITH desserts. *Entertainment - Very good with one exception for us. *Celebrity does a marvelous job of matching dinner companions. We have met some of the best people and thank Celebrity for that. DISLIKES: *Embarkation in Barcelona was a nightmare for us. We stood in line an hour to board the ship. WHY? We had done the X-Press Pass check-in online and had read CC reviews where they just breezed on board and their Sea Pass cards were waiting on them in their cabins. We had to do a complete RE-Check-in. Ridiculous. *Boarded the ship on Deck 5 and they were already out of Welcome Bubbly at 11:45am. Headed to the bank of elevators to go down to Deck 3 for Sail Away lunch, That bank of elevators was OUT OF ORDER so back to the forward bank. Ridiculous. *Sail Away luncheon: We were pleased to see the Morrocan Braised Short Ribs on the menu as we had enjoyed them so much last year on the Silhouette. YUK. These ribs seemed to grow more stringy with every bite. One of our companions said the salmon was very good though. *Reflection Symphony (band): TOO LOUD!!!! They played so loudly it was hard to understand the words of the guest singers. Take it down a notch, Reflection. Louder is not always better. This was a complaint voiced by MANY passengers, not just me. *Dress Code: WHAT DRESS CODE? Why tell people what to wear for dinner in the MDR and just let them breeze right in wearing the wrong type clothing? Drop the dress code requirements if you won't enforce them; it would make packing a lot easier! *Health Code Violation in the OV? There were two women on this cruise who had brought their ENORMOUS POODLE with them. I am talking, big poodle! I saw that dog several times in the OV Cafe at lunch. Really? Couldn't you leave the dog in the cabin long enough to eat a meal? In the state where I live only Guide Dogs for the legally blind are allowed in restaurants. *Hygiene: Virtually non-existent on the Reflection. On other Celebrity cruises the employees would literally chase people down to squirt the Purell on their hands before they entered the dining areas. Not so on the Reflection. It was hit and miss. *General Appearance of the ship's interior: Tired and DATED. There was a huge chunk of 'wood' missing from the back of the seat in front of us in the Reflection Theatre. Tacky furniture in the common areas and in the Sky Lounge. *If you have thick hair, bring your own hair dryer or you will spend an hour drying your hair. It is not fun holding the button in for length of time. We were pleased with the itinerary and smooth sailing thanks to Capt. Nicholas. However, we would not sail the Reflection again. I think the ventilation system in the cabins is not really good. I heard to many people coughing......including myself. Think we will stick to the Silhouette. Read Less

We have sailed on Celebrity Cruises before and as Captain Club members, we were not given any extra consideration, dining table were in hidden corners behind walls, we requested a move but, no one was interested. We enjoyed our Silhouette cruise and couldn't wait for this one, however, this cruise was a disappointment. Some food items and beverage types ran out days before the end of the cruise, this should never happen. If you pay for top packages the food and drinks should not run out. Our Spa treatments were all rushed and shortened in time with ongoing apologies regarding being overbooked. We were in formal dining areas with people wearing shorts and T-Shirts- this is not a high standard of quality, we respected the Dress Code but, staff did not follow them through with other passengers. This should not be the style of clothing. We look forward to sailing again, but enjoy high quality services. This was a disappointment. Read Less

Our 4th Celebrity Cruise (Eclipse, Equinox, Azmara Quest) and now Reflection. What a great ship ! We stayed one night in Amsterdam prior to the cruise and spent one full day and most of the embarkation day touring Amsterdam. We always check in later in the day prior to sailing and had zero line up. Our Sunset Cabin was excellent, great perspective from the AFT portion of the ship but likely too far of a walk to the elevators for older people. Cabin was very clean and well appointed. We always do carry on, and use the laundry services. MDR was quite good, staff were attentive. Premium Drink Package is worth it if you like to drink and enjoy a nice variety. New Cruise Director (Dan France) was decent coming from Equinox, and we still miss former Cruise Director Richard Spacey now a popular Gym Owner in UK - LOL. Entertainment Shows were decent, comedian was great. Excursions are very expensive and quality was so-so. We booked private tours through the Cruise Critic Roll Call Group who were excellent with over 100 members -- we used Spain Day Tours for one and Barcelona Day tours on another - both vendors are wonderful. Dinner in Murano is exceptional and well worth it. A few suggestions: if taking a transatlantic cruise or multi sea days, TV in the evening is limited with pay per view now $15. So Stream if using paid internet. Pools were great, people were from all over, mostly American, Canada, UK, with representation from China growing each year. Easy to walk off the ship on disembarkation day with Carry-on too. Nice people, great food --staff are very customer focused which makes Celebrity stand above the others. Read Less
