I have cruised with Princess many times and not been disappointed. But This was the best ship ever on Princess, Great Activities, shows, music, food, many pools to suit everyone. quiet pools as well as kiddie pools and music pools spa pool hot tubs deep pools shady pools. Easiest embarkation ever. Luggage delivered to my room 2 hours before scheduled Front Desk handles all request, fun parties, wonderful kid programs - get the kids to join you won't be sorry. Buffet is awesome. Hard to believe the number of breakfast items to suit all tastes. Burger shop, pizza shop Gluten free, sugar free desserts every day. Best service ever at the buffet. There were 186 teens aboard and they were kept very busy. St Marten 10 best sites excursion is well worth $49.95 and if you are lucky enough to get "Ash" you'll see and learn more about this Island than you knew existed. Have fun and Don't hesitate Read Less

Got a good deal on a cruise for my wife, daughters and their respective beaus' so we decided to take a family vacation from the Pacific Northwest to the Hot Caribbean, and hot it was. The ship was very clean and well kept up and the staff was exceptionally pleasant throughout. Matt the cruise director and his first mate Andy were great and very entertaining and kept us in stiches the whole time we were on board. Our room steward was never far from sight and the room was always impeccable. Food was good but it has digressed form the Princess of 15 years ago but I guess that is true of a lot of things as the accountants take over. Overall the cruise was great and we all had a wonderful time and the Caribbean Princess is a well run well kept ship. We would cruise again on her without hesitation. Read Less

We chose this cruise for the ports that were on it & heard that Princess was a nice company to work with. First, the medallion system was great for quick entries & exits on the ship, finding out how to get where we wanted to go and where things were located. Loved this system & wish other lines would follow along. The cabin itself could use an updating but was clean & the service was great. I especially liked the huge closet area that separated the bed from the bathroom. Loved the balcony. We liked the food in general and ate one night at Steamers/Planks, we were able to order from both at the same time, which was a nice feature. We tried to do a bit of everything Re: entertainment, some trivia games, casino. The seats in the theater seemed to be one size fits all and seemed to be a bit cramped. We took 2 shore excursions through Princess, A tour in Roatan with gardens & a butterfly garden and a stop at an animal place, stops at a restaurant for drinks & a stop at a cameo factory. In Cozumel we chose a sunset catamaran cruise which was just beautiful with perfect weather. In Grand Caymen, we were the only ship docked, so we just walked to the pier area and picked a tour of the area which was very nice. The only small problems were not enough clocks around the ship and the lack of a food area for midnight snacks. This was a great cruise and I can see us going on Princess again in the future.
