We have cruised with Princess twice before and were happy with our experiences. This time we noticed all the cost cutting measures that have been taken. Ship was very crowded and priced were lowered closer to sailing. However, club class mini suite pricing was not lowered. Embarkation was great however next time I would not board until after noon. Disappointed with quality of toiletries, tissue, toilet paper and paper towels. Service was good and room was kept clean. Cabin was as expected but sofa bed was not comfortable and looked like it had seen better days. Club Class dining appears to be no different from regular dining as menus are the same with the exception of a chef cooking an entre, dessert or appetizer in the area (not at your table as advertised). Quality and types of main dishes is much lower. Few American dishes. Hamburgers are even compressed into a hard pattie. Club class dining is separate but not partitioned off so people from dining room were exiting our area. Service in CC dining was very good. Princess Theatre Troup entertainment used to be better; special entertainers were very good. No seating is set aside for suite class. Theaters are always crowded. No information is given about which entertainers will appear more than once until the day of appearance. Ports are good. Guest lecturers poor. Service, staff and baristas in International Cafe are exceptional. We received no forms for EZ Check or information until the deadline expired and customer service argued with us about receipt of those forms. No answer when calling room service when we did. There was no butler for minisuites. Staffing has been cut so these service personnel are really working extremely hard. Not enough waiter assistants. Bar service slow in dining room likely due to all the staffing cuts.. Back to Celebrity Cruiseline. Read Less

we were with 8 people to cruise with , wish I got a baloney.,too enclosed for me , have claustrophobic issues the rooms seemed seems too tight, i also wish the exist were marked better mentioning what dinning room you were heading for , it would of been nice to see a large floor number when you got of an elevator. , there were so many people confused on the ship trying to find where they had to go . the organization of coming on the ship and leaving the ship was excellent . The trip for us was great . The people on the ship were so kind and very help full ,when we do our next cruise , I hope the gym is open earlier , so i can use the tread mills . we will be booking a balcony for sure . we had a incident with the was on the ship it was not marked so we drank it and then the next day there was a bill to sign for the water . i did go to the service desk to have it corrected , and it took so long to have that cost removed . i would sooner not have water in my room and ask for it to be brought when needed . . thank you for the nice safe cruise . we will cruise with princes again for sure . Oh dear what a difference a few years make, not like no ago princess was one day of my two favourite cruise lines. The cut backs are enormous, the majority of the crew need retraining in knowledge and service. We had so many problems that were caused by poor staff and it took ages to sort out. The cabin steward was a miserable sod (ok they have off days like all of us but not the whole cruise). And his attention to detail was poor , dirty towels left lying around after cleaning , dirty cups plates glasses left around , and some nights no chocolates. Cabin d733 also avoid like the plague if you want peace and quiet yes it has a massive balcony but the engine noise is terrible. Food was poor and unimaginative and repetitious. The MDR one one occasion I literally had my plate slid across the table to me and half fell in ff onto the table cloth. The kids club was great and so was the medical staff which we both used a lot. The ship itself is lovely clean and bright Read Less
