Great, professional, friendly and well trained staff; clean ship. The 7 night cruise offered a panoramic view of some Caribbean islands. Shire excursions with the ship were way too expensive dive as well as onboard internet. Food was varied and good quality. Highly recommend Royal Caribbean. Infinitely better than a (crowed and unpleasant) Norwegian cruise I took in the past with Norwegian Cruise. A shout out to Roberto caeiro (housekeeping) Norberto dicosta (restaurant) Imade Sanjaya (andi) (restaurant) Igor Knezevic (restaurant) Andrej Apati (restaurant) Savio Serrao (restaurant) Beverly Taylor (restaurant) Amal Dmello (restaurant) . Restaurant staff so well trained and food was of very good quality. I just wish there would be a few more vegetarian varieties for dinner. Overal, a great cruise experience. I traveled with a group of different ages: a couple over 70, my kids, ages 11 and 13. The main lobby area should have more space as it is the core of the evening activities , providing fun entertainment (believe me, I am usually not fan of entertainment in general). Read Less

Poor food and not enough staff within the evening dining. Awful entertainment (with the exception of Tango in Buenos Aires and the ship orchestra). Food within the Windjammer (buffet) was OK. Nothing to rave about. Staff on the cruise, for the most part, were definitely not motivated and were observed to be berated by management when doing something wrong. I mentioned to my spouse that RC was the cruise line of "no". Instead of bending over backwards in order to satisfy a request, their immediate response was always "no" instead of "let me see what we can do for you". Overall, I would gauge this cruise line as a small step above Carnival. Not a luxury cruise line...not even close. If you desire a cruise line just to get drunk on, this will do for you. If you want a more luxurious cruise line, then skip RC. Thank you for listening. Read Less

Traveled on the Jewel of the Seas which is a smaller vessel with approximately 2900 passengers. The crew was amazing in every department, always having a smile. You could really tell they wanted to provide an amazing level of service. The overall food experience in the main dining was superb even for a cruise. I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and taste mostly in the evening. The shows were of very high quality. The energy in the Centrum was upbeat. We had one particular team member in the dining room that managed to remember everyone's name from the very first day - Amal. Overall the staff was incredible. The only experience I would change was the Cruise shopping Director. Of all the stops, St Lucia was the one I would not repeat. We went to the beach and were bombarded by people selling constantly and it was very hard to truly enjoy the experience. They will charge you in the public beach for using chairs and umbrellas and overall their demeanor is not pleasant. If you stop there take an excursion. The room was a balcony and it was great. Drinking coffee in the mornings or having a moonlit drink in the balcony is a fantastic experience. Read Less
