Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze. Size of ship was a plus. No lines for on/off at ports. Clear signage for water shuttle back to ship in Venice caused us to look for shuttle for 1 hour. Phone number on our ship card was no longer in service. We finally took water taxi to the pier (70 euros) to avoid being left behind when ship sailed from Venice. Food was just OK in 2 main restaurants. Omelets in breakfast buffet were great. Cagney’s Steakhouse and Le Trattoria specialty restaurants were especially good. You may be able to get some free specialty restaurant meals when you book your cruise. We hardly saw our cabin steward in 11 days. I didn’t need to see him if he had been more attentive to our needs- clean towels and glasses. Pros: ports we wanted to visit; easy on/off ship; no waiting in line; great food in specialty restaurants Cons: poor signage and/or instruction in Venice; intercom announcements poor sound quality in common areas; food just ok; cabin steward just ok (cruise line adds 14.50 per person per day surcharge for tips to staff. No incentive for lackluster stewards to amp up their performance) Read Less

This is our second time on this ship and both times have had wonderful experiences. Food through out the ship is great whether in complimentary dining or in specialty dinning. I would suggest of you want a rare steak be sure to talk to the matri’d to ensure a truly rare (blue) steak. Out of the 6 steaks ordered on our 10 day cruise only 1 was delivered rare on first try. Wonderful upgrades to dietary notification in main dinning rooms as well as specialty restaurants however Raffels could have better designations. In Rhodes, Greece the tour Lindos and it’s Acropolis was a fantastic tour but be aware it is not for the faint of heart. As an active person, it was a challenge from the walk down to the village. They offer buses down to the village for an additional cost as well as you can rent a poorly treated local donkey to carry you up past the point that you need to work out at all if you can look past their sad faces. Highly recommend seeing the Corinth Canal as it is beautiful to behold from above as well as from boats. While visiting the Islands of Santorini would highly recommend booking a tour through the boat to take you to the new port and be a first round on the tenders. Please do not take the donkey’s up or down the stairs. These animals are horribly abused and just because you don’t want to wait in the gondola line and don’t walk down. If you decide to walk down, wear proper walking shoes and be aware the stones are very worn and therefore slick. Highly recomend if you have the upgraded dinning package, make your reservations before you board the boat. Read Less

We were a group of 13 friends. We picked the ship because of the itinerary. Good thing we had each other to keep entertained and make the best of this extremely dull ship. The Cruise Director was lackluster and the DJ played awful music. The Spanish Duo was amazing and tried their best to keep the entertainment festive. By 10pm the ship was a ghost town. I felt like I was in a nursing home and it was 10 o'clock lights out. This ship was old and the burgers and pizza were awful. The food overall was average. This is my first and last NCL cruise. The Specialty restaurants were good. We were not able to get a reservation at Teppinaki, that was extremely frustrating, since we paid for the extra specialty dining and had to eat Italian twice. Overall, if you are over 60 and want a quiet relaxing cruise with very little to do, this is the cruise for you. Read Less
