we made the news, ship was NOT serviced..total chaos!! quite a few injuries on-board, the ship did a lean and EVERYTHING and EVERYbody went flying.. literally !! NEVER again!! this ship was HORRIBLE. food in the dining room was cold and bland cramped cabins you would think ypu would have more room in a balcony NOT.. no AC for 2 days!! we had to call customer service and maintenance twice we didn't have air and had to leave our balcony door open for air! entertainment was crap, comedians were not funny, even karaoke was boring, it rained a few days but carnival cant control the weather. Grand Turk was the best thing about my trip, I'm jist glad I lived to tell about it, traumatized but alive. Carnival is slipping big time , not even a lobster tail for dinner, couldn't wait to get off that ship! cruise director was ok. Read Less

There is so much wrong on this ship! There is holes under the carpet so be careful you will fall, hot water doesn't work in some of the rooms, some of the rooms flood due to leaking pipes, it takes 2.5 hours for supper so you will miss some of the shows, hot tub stayed broken, water coming out of the light fixture from a flooded floor, the motor will stop working and leave you stranded so you can not make all of the port of calls you paid for, staff is not that friendly because it appears they are overworked, don't bother paying for the soda because none of the staff will come by to take your order or get you another can of soda, they play the same music over and over and over and over, and so much more. We chose this boat to go on for our 20th year anniversary. We will stick to Royal Caribbean from now on and I suggest you do too!!! Read Less

We have cruised with Carnival many times and always had a great time and wonderful staff. This cruise turned out to be the worst! Our water was so hot in the morning you could not stand under the water, the faucet also had hot water only in the morning. If you wanted to safely take a shower you had to do it at night. The plumber came to our room twice and since it was later in the day, the water was fine so Carnival records show issue resolved.....not! Several Guest Service employees were very rude when you talked with them. One morning went to dining room for breakfast and service was bad and had to wait 90 minutes for our breakfast. For a ship just coming out of dry dock there were more maintenance people “fixing” numerous broken things/equipment than I had ever seen on previous cruises. The saving grace was the Cruise Director, our wait staff in the dining room for dinner, our Room Steward, the people in the Fine Jewelry Fun Shop and the employees of Park West Gallery. Yes, we were the cruise that got stuck in San Juan and therefore did not get to go to Grand Turk....the panel exploding on the Serenity Deck was to blame and totally unforeseen. However, carnival only offered $50.00 per per plus port fees of approximately $15.00 for compensation for missing Grand Turks.....don't feel that was fair compensation especially for what was paid for the cruise. Now I see the cruise after us had further issues with the ship listing on the first night out....another electrical/mechanical issue. Wi-fi and Hub chat down majority of cruise. Carnival is reimbursing me for that. Read Less
