We had been wanting to go on a cruise for years and just never took the plunge until this year. Wow! I wish we had decided to go on one years ago. We were on the Harmony of the Seas and there were so many activities. It's true when people tell you it is a floating resort. There is as little or as much to do as you want. There were four of us, myself, my husband and our two kids (ages 19 and 17) and every one of us had a great time. We took the cheaper route and all stayed on one room. To be honest, I was a little nervous about all of us being crammed in one room, but surprisingly it wasn't that bad. We had a king bed and the kids were on a trundle bed (couch converted to this). The shower was a decent size. The only time it was crowded was at bedtime, but we figured we could put up with that because we were hardly ever in the room. Our cabin steward, Antonio, was the best. He cleaned up our room twice a day-we never had to ask for anything. We always had fresh towels and made up beds. Every night my kids could not wait to get to the room to see what towel animal was waiting on the bed and Antonio never ceased to amaze us. He was so personable and would take the time to ask us how our dinner or excursion was or where we were headed for the day. We ate in the Silk dining room for dinner every night and the food was delicious. We had the most amazing head waiter-Karim and our assistant waiter Anthony was also wonderful. By day 3 these men knew exactly what we wanted to drink and even would bring my son a side dish of ranch with every meal. Karim was so personable and would laugh and joke with us, yet always maintained such a professional demeanor. At the end of every meal Karim would let us know the dress code for the next day and disembarkation information. We never had to ask for refills and Karim would give us detailed explanations of what meals were that we were unsure of. The excursions were out of this world. In Haiti we just relaxed on their private island. When we got off the boat we found a nice little cove, got beach chairs and a mat to float on. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed just lying around and eating the buffet the ship provided. In Jamaica we did a private excursion with Patrice Bailey's tours and it was sensational. We went to Blue Hole and got to jump off the cliffs into the most amazing blue water. We stopped to eat lunch at a local place called Scotchies and had excellent Jamaican Jerk chicken and some local sides. Our guide stopped several times to get us some local produce and we had the sweetest mangos and a fruit called sweet sop. We never once felt unsafe. Our guide Maurice was so kind and really knew the history of the island. In Cozumel we did a Royal Caribbean excursion which was dune buggies and snorkeling. The dune buggies were so much fun as was the snorkeling although we all agreed that a longer time snorkeling would have been better. We would have rather snorkeled longer and skipped the 30 minute stop to Barricuda Beach which was obviously just to boost the local economy. Entertainment on the boat was pretty good. We saw Grease, an ice skating show, comedians and an a cappella show. Each one was a good show. We also did an Escape the Room on the boat which was a blast. We were in a group of 12 and yes, we did escape! There was always music whether it was in a bar or out on a main deck. Some of the singers left a lot to be desired, but the general vibe was upbeat on the boat so it didn't really matter if not everyone could sing. There were always photographers taking random photos or getting photos of us before or after dinners. We had such a great time that we booked a cruise for next summer before we got off the boat. Different ports and a different ship, but still Royal Caribbean. If you are wavering about going on a cruise-do it. You won't regret it! Read Less

I was looking for a Family Cruise with a lot of Onboarding Options... when I saw the Harmony of the Seas in the Royal Caribbean Web Site, I didn't doubt to choose this Ship for our annual Vacations. I decided to take one Suite for my family of 4, and it was very confortable and with enough space for everything. After having more than 5 Cruises experience, without any doubt, this was was the Best of the Best!!!. Now, beyond the Ship, and the overall Entertainment, I might say, the best was the warm service of the people supporting us during our cruise experience. Specially, O'Neil, our Cabin Assistance!!!, Quodes for him!!!. The food, was also excellent, and I do see a bigger selection of healthy food versus previous experiences. A good change was the way to do Inmigration at the end of the cruise, very well planned and much quicker than the past. Read Less

I loved all of the onboard activities this ship had to offer. during my 7-day cruise, I still felt like there were things I missed out on. When I wanted to relax, there were several opportunities to do so. The solarium was a great place to recharge from a long day of activities. The only miss is to add a small pool to the solarium. The kid's clubs were great! my 5-year-old loved all of the activities they had planned. I like how they slipt up the kids groups into small groups close in age. Even though my 2-year-old (2 months from being 3) was not old enough to go into the 3-5 year old club, they let him trial the club and eventually let him in (he has been potty trained from 17 months, and is very vocal and good at playing with older kids). He also liked going in an playing with the other kids. The cabins were really clean, and the layout was well thought out. we stayed on an inside cabin. My kids slept so well because of how dark the cabins were. I liked the build in night light that stayed on when all the other lights were out. I also liked all of the charge ports and storage solutions. The food was excellent. I like the buffet (windjammer) the best. The food was always fresh, and tasted great. I liked how you had to wash our hands to get into the buffet area, it makes everything a lot cleaner. The water slides were a blast. If you go around 5pm there wasn't as big of a line. The flo rider was fun, but on my trip one of them wasn't working properly, so the lines were longer. Overall I loved the ship and would come back again. Read Less
