We spent a few days in Seattle before making our way to Vancouver for embarking on our cruise. Seattle was spectacular and we loved it! We were so excited for our adventures to begin. After arriving at the port, the boarding process wasn’t that awful and after 2hrs. We were on our way onto the ship and ready to explore... The ship overall is slightly dated and it shows. Our cabin was ok but smaller than you would think. Our attendant for our room was decent and we really didn’t have any issues with our cabin. The issues with our vacation started with our missing luggage. Late delivery and the fact that I had to go to guest services to identify our missing baggage?! One of the biggest components of a cruise is your dining. That being said, this was one of our biggest complaints which was met with beurocratic deaf ears! We were never given the opportunity to choose our dining options in advance and this error could not be corrected once aboard ship. Even though all of these issues were brought to the attention of appropriate personnel, nothing could be done?! The general service from ships crew was awful! I’m sorry; not my job; I don’t know are three things you should get used to hearing on this ship... Excursions were also a hot mess. I booked a seaplane and fly fishing excursion only to find out on board that it was catch and release only, that wasn’t mentioned in the brochure that details the excursion. There was also miscommunication regarding another excursion that led us to change the meeting place (3 different locations) and the staff was clueless to help us find our way... had the local operator of the tour not waited on us, we would have missed our excursion. We cancelled another based on these two excursions and that also was met with beurocratic resistance?! Overall, poor service, miscommunication, and bad food makes this trip an absolute waste of time and money. The $6500 cabin for four was definitely not worth it. I’ll NEVER cruise Celebrity again! We just completed the seven-day Hubbard Glacier Cruise, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The itinerary was excellent, and we were very fortunate to have great weather. I’d highly recommend it as a quiet respite from hot summer weather in the Lower 48. Embarkation and disembarkation in Vancouver were seamless. I’d highly recommend spending some time in Vancouver before or after the cruise, as it is an incredible city. We arrived the night before the cruise departed and stayed in the Pan Pacific Hotel. Note that this hotel is on the cruise pier and offers complimentary bag transfer from your room to the ship. This was extremely convenient. Post-cruise, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, which was fantastic. Upon entering the ship, the first thing we noticed is the smaller scale compared to the Solstice class vessels. Having recently sailed on both the Solstice and the Silhouette, the difference was immediately noticeable. However, we quickly adjusted and came to really enjoy the more manageable size of Infinity. While this ship has been updated, you quickly see signs that show its true age. The corridor lighting and teal doors are dead giveaways. The cabin itself was tidy and felt familiar except for the bathroom. Our shower had mold in the grout, some rust where the wall met the tile, and a moldy shower curtain. Note that our relatives staying in a different room did not have these issues. Nevertheless, I was pretty disappointed in the mold issue, since that is simply a sign of poor upkeep. My past experience with Celebrity has been better in this regard. I should also note that the balcony attached to our aft-facing room (8172) was gigantic. We actually laughed when we saw how large it was, wondering why the ship’s designers didn’t utilize some of that space for a bigger stateroom. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed that large, private space and would very much recommend these aft balcony rooms to anyone. Relative to dining, our experience in the main dining room was outstanding in all regards. The Oceanview Cafe, on the other hand, was overcrowded and not well laid-out to manage passenger flow. Finally, we did miss dining at Murano as we do on the Solstice-class ships, since that is our favorite restaurant at sea. Hopefully the next update to Infinity adds it. In summary, this cruise was another great Celebrity experience, crummy bathroom aside. Even though Infinity is aging, she has a lot to offer including a great crew and Alaskan itinerary. Read Less

I would't suggest this trip for young people. Most activities on the ship was boring ..only good part was buffet. By end of the trip i checked my bank account and noticed that they took 260$ US for tips ! it was shocking because I wasn't aware of this charge and gave tips separately for service. Also AC in my cabin didn't work during 24 hr and they were fixing it whole day but they could't so we could't sleep whole night asked again tech guy to fix it and finally he manged to do it by 2 am ! What a high tips for such a poor service ?! They constantly trying to sell you something like jewelries, trips , restaurant dinners and so on .. I felt like I was money scammed that's all I can say. Definitely won't recommend this cruise to my family and friends. ! Read Less
