The cruise ship was spotless and the people that work on that ship were all so nice. This was our first time going on a cruise and we loved it. It is like a whole small town on a ship. It was so amazing and relaxing. We had a wonderful time. Our housekeeper Alexander was wonder and kept our room clean and also Lady Bingo was great(we played bingo the whole weekend). Kevin the director was also a very nice and friendly person and answered any question that you had.The food was great(we ate at Guy’s every day) and the dining room food was wonderful. We went to the dining room Friday night at 8:15 and the waiters did a nice performance/dance that I really enjoyed. The embarkation and disembarkation ran smoothly for this to be our first time. We will pick this cruise ship every time we decide to go on a cruise. Read Less

I choose this cruise for a mommy and daughter's birthday present. Embarkation was a BREEZE!! Once aboard, we immediately grabbed something to eat from Guy's burgers. Yes, it is soo good. As we walked around the ship, we found the layout was weird on certain floors. We could not get into our cabin until exactly 1:30 pm which was fine by me. Our cabin was nice, clean and dated, but you get what you pay for. The Munster drill was a complete joke. I could not hear nor see the lead person because we were literally staked on top of each other and it was hot. Not nice!! The buffet was OK, and the coffee sucked big time. The whole layout was odd. There's an adult pool in the middle of the lido deck right in front of the pizza pirate and folks are sitting and eating. The entertainment was decent. Kevinnnnn, the cruise director was so funny and witty. He was informative and caring. I loved Kevin!! We had bad weather one day and everyone was sick. It was not a good feeling. We accidentally found ourselves lost on deck 11 and the spa ladies pounced immediately on us. Talk about high-pressure sales tactics. $150 for a mani and Pedi, No thanks! The comedy shows were ok. I was not expecting it to be stellar but the lady comic's material was obscene!! The main dining rooms were top notch and the food was good...not great but good. The dining staff was kind and helpful. Disembarkation was a disaster!!! Carnival needs to find another way to disembark because what I witnessed this morning was complete chaos! Overall, this is a good ship for a first-timer. But after witnessing debarkation this morning, I don't think that I would sail on any Carnival cruises out of New Orleans again. Read Less

We chose the cruise to have a fun New Year's Eve and relax after the business of the holidays... We didn't expect a lot because we've cruised with Carnival before, but it was available and close to home. There was nothing exceptional about the cruise. Our room only got cleaned in the morning (no night time turn down with chocolate on the pillow), no extra special touches at all. The food in the dining room was not good, one night the service was so bad that we left without dessert. We had to pay an extra $38 per person to eat at the steakhouse to get a good meal. No band at the pool, always a DJ playing techno music which is grating after awhile. At Cozumel we had booked a bike ride with another company and no one informed us of the time difference so we were late and had to take a different tour than we booked. We tried to just be grateful that we got to go on a cruise, but it was very pricey for what we got. Not recommended. Read Less
