Providence is the capital city of Rhode Island in the New England region of the United States, and it's a city with a distinct personality steeped in art. During the Summer and Fall months, it's the site of a popular art installation dubbed WaterFire that is comprised of a series of multisensory bonfires that create a stunning visual. The area is also packed with historic landmarks, shopping opportunities and a variety of excellent restaurants.
