Consider Another Cruise Line First

Earlier in the cruise, we had already identified shortcomings in cabin cleaniness, mediocre food, and lame excursions that were very disappointing (we did not travel to that distance to be "treated" to a tour of a golf course, taken to markets but not given any time to shop and told that we couldn't enter an area near a building because Regent hadn't paid for our access); however, being stuck on a disabled ship without regular updates and assistance was untenable.We'll avoid Regent in the future.Read More

Disappointing Experience Aboard the Regent Voyager

While the staff's friendliness was commendable, the neglect of private areas, inadequate dining portions, and poor handling of unforeseen circumstances have left me with no desire to sail with Regent again.I recently embarked on a voyage from Lisbon to Barcelona aboard the Regent Voyager, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.Read More

First and last experience with ’ultra’ luxury line

Bottom line: Solid specialty dining, good cabin, decent shore excursions (with exception of pre-cruise program), atrocious entertainment, lackluster customer service.Service and food quality in these venues was markedly superior to main dining (Compass Rose) and also better than most cruise dining, even occasionally reaching the level of highly-rated land-based restaurants.Read More
