This was our first cruise and first time leaving the country! We are a family of three. Myself, my wife and our 7 year old son. We absolutely loved our trip, and have already booked our next one for December! Celinez and Dody in the MDR were fantastic! Mark (the head waiter) was a GEM as well! They had all kinds of origami made for our son whenever we arrived for dinner. The stateroom was an ocean ...

Grandeur Was Far From Grand

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

As Diamond Plus Members on Royal we can tell you this was the worst experience we have ever encountered. The ship was in deplorable condition, the rooms were dirty, the casino was full of dirty ashtrays and glasses and the staff was indifferent and some were just plain rude. The food was deplorable in the dining room and the head waiter was wearing a dirty, soiled suit jacket. The ...

A blast

Wonderful ! Staff were fantastic! Ship was clean and the crowd was very diverse. It wasn’t too loud and too crowded. Everything was well organized! Had the opportunity to relax and also join in on fun activities. Enjoyed the game and comedy show. The food was good and displayed nicely. Lots of food to chose from. Spent 4 nights/5 days. Cruise time went quick! The rep Sandy at the front desk was ...

Horrible old beat up ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

Absolutely horrible. The food was ruined every dinner. It was mostly overcooked. I ordered off the menu twice. Twin lobster tails with no filet. Only one of those tiny 4 ounce tails was edible. The others way overcooked like shoe leather. Not edible. All the food was bad. The ship needs to be scrapped like fantasy and esctasy. It is too small, too old, stinks like urine and sewage and ...

Review of Our Recent Cruise Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

### Review of Our Recent Cruise Experience Our recent cruise was a highly disappointing experience, especially considering the priority status we had. The series of mishaps, lack of proper care and responsiveness from the staff, and the poor condition of the ship severely marred our vacation. Firstly, the crib for our baby was not in the room upon arrival, despite our prior request. This ...

Mediocre Cruise

We had dirty linen in our cabin; long black hair from previous guest....absolutely disgusting. The service was good. The food was horrible outside of the burger station and deli. The last night we had the Emeril special "coffee glazed duck'' it was the best dinner of the entire time. The amount of food thrown away during the late/midnight hours were ridiculous. You would probably want to have ...

Bad Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Liberty

The ship was in good working, but seemed understaffed. They don’t clean the rooms like they used to, I think they have more rooms assigned to them now. I have been on 8 cruises with Carnival and the food in the main dining room was horrible! 1 out of 7 days was good. Soup was cold everyday, the chocolate “melting” cake lacked any cake and the menu was bad. I don’t like to complain and maybe it is ...

Embarkation was unbelievably easy. We were scheduled for 12:00 pm but arrived around 11:00 am and had no trouble getting on. The facial recognition that they use is awesome and makes the experience so much easier. We got on the ship and were able to check out the layout of the space and get a drink before heading to the Windjammer for a bite to eat. The Mariner of the Seas is an older ship ...

Carnival is over!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

Carnival Valor Well, this cruise showed me how low Carnival could actually go. The bean counters have taken cost savings to the extreme and are ruining Carnival. Let me say up front, I will never go on a Carnival cruise again, even if were FREE! You could just feel how lousy the cruise was going to be when you first get on board. It almost seemed like the crew were trying to hide so, ...

Regret booking the Paradise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

I wish I had heeded all the negative reviews before I booked it but I was wanting to try sailing from Tampa instead of Port Canaveral because it seemed easier, and I liked the ports it was going to. To say it lacks amenities is an understatment and it is very small and dated. One small pool with two hot tubs and the adult area had some chairs and one small hot tub. There is no specialty dining ...
