Pride- Bahamas

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Pride

I was not impressed with this cruise. We previously cruised with Disney and there is simply NO comparison. The ship is old, dated and the service lacks to say the least. Our cabin attendant was great. But the others were just there. Customer service was just rude on the two occasions I had to deal with them. We made the best of the time spent on board. Grand Turk is incredible! We were kept on ...

Bad. Don’t do it. Try Virgin instead.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

Lack of food options is impressive. They don’t even have a pizza place. Becomes a food dessert at 9 pm. Only options in a “late night” restaurant include: sauerkraut, chili as a meal, and hot dog. Not even chicken fingers or pizza. Only things will make your gut feel worse than it already does from whatever hospital like food you ate earlier. Large portion of casinos slot machines don’t work ...

DO NOT RECOMMEND- TERRIBLE SERVICE

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

User Avatar

To say the least, the service on this cruise ship was horrible. Every bar is a nightmare to get a drink and unorganized. Communication between their own crewmates was horrible with so many workers not knowing where to find things or have correct info often even giving us false information. Unless you could sleep with nonstop alarms and sirens going off in the mornings, noone was still asleep past ...

Great Service, Great Food on Allure

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We returned from a 4-night cruise on Allure. It's still a great ship about to go into much-needed dry dock. The good: 1. Embarkation and debarkation. The cruise port staff is wonderful. Parking at the port wasn't too bad when the garage opened at 10:00 a.m. We had The Key and it was worth the money for boarding the ship early, as well as the wonderful disembarkation day breakfast ...

Haven Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

I have recently seen lots of bad reviews of the Breakaway, and wanted to add a more positive one. The Good: Although the ship is older and showing some wear, we found everything to be very clean. There was always someone cleaning, polishing, and sweeping the elevator lobbies and stairwells, etc. We did experience the issue with our toilet not working one day, but a quick call to housekeeping ...

MS Magnifica JUST A GREAT EXPERIENCE

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Magnifica

My wife and I embarked the Magnifica on 5/10. Prior to our trip, I was able to upgrade to the Aurea level with a spacious room, large balcony and access to the Top 16 deck which was private. Towel service, excellent bar and bar staff. Especially Febry from Indonesia, Elvis from Kenya and Jeff from Roatan made our trip fantastic. Our cabin steward Raoul, I can’t speak enough kind words about this ...

Great but Some Minor Improvements Needed

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

User Avatar

Great ship in good shape but with some minor improvements needed. Embarkation- simple and easy. From entering the terminal to getting on the ship was 15 minutes. They really have this down to a science. The ship- older but mostly clean and in good shape. Adventure is solidly in the mid-size category for RCI. It's big enough to not feel cramped and doesn't feel crowded except in the ...

Very Good Cruise

Carnival Paradise was good. Special cheers to Amber, our awesome cruise director, and the magician Anoop, who entertained us in the Elation Dining room with his tricks. The food was tasty, the entertainment and the shore excursions were good. The only problem was the fact that our room was congested. Some tips for you guys are:- - Don't miss the punchliner comedy club and Playlist Productions. ...

Nothing "Grand" - Retire this ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

User Avatar

Nothing "grand" about this ship "grandeur of the seas" and we obviously overpaid for the old, rusty, unkempt condiiton of the ship. This ship should be taken out of the ranks. I've been on another royal caribbean cruise (oasis of the seas) and never thought i would do another royal caribbean again because is was not fantastic but this was the dumps. My husband and i cruised norwegian september ...
