Way better than expected :)

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Grand Princess

First cruise post Covid. Normally I cruise regularly on both Holland America and Princess. I deliberately kept my expectations low and given the large numbers of negative comments and complaints I noted prior to departure I wasn't expecting a really great cruise.... I was very pleasantly surprised. Embarkation in Honolulu was the quickest ever.... I arrived at the pier at 11am picked up my ...

A wonderful cruise

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Coral Princess

I love the Pacific Ocean, the islands and the Pacific People. I like a lot of sea days as shore visits take a toll of my damaged feet. I'm a loyal Princess cruiser and also have been on the Coral Princess before and love the smaller ship with the amazing quirky decor. In terms of the staff - they were all so lovely and friendly. I've added a photo to show that we are not the average couple, ...

We have a bucket list, nothing like going to Mars just a must do before the big one hits..Four of many things on it, eat sushi in Japan see Tokyo, find a reason to buy a Tux and cross the Pacific in style. While let me tell you, Cunard's Tokyo to Vancouver cruise was everything we hoped it could be an more. A beautiful ship kept spotlessly clean by hard working very pleasant staff. This is not a ...

Tokyo to Alaska re-positioning cruise

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Silver Whisper

We chose this cruise because we wanted a luxury cruise at a discount to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary. We also chose this particular cruise because we wanted to visit relatives in Tokyo & see some of the Silverseas ports. We were very happy with all that Silverseas had to offer: service, food quality, alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages, service, activities, cleanliness, & did I ...

My favorite ship!

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

User Avatar

I should start saying that I am a Platinum Latitude member and I cruised with Other lines and this very ship before. I think I found my match: the Spirit is small enough where one doesn't have to secure tickets for shows, and there is always a table available at the buffet. However, is big enough for the transoceanic crossing to be smooth and plenty of quiet places if one needs it. There is ...

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

We wanted to complete an earlier world cruise, and so booked the 49 day Sydney to New York cruise. We love the QM2 and continue to love it. After the Covid pause we were a bit worried as to what shape the ship would be in, but we found it to be in good shape. Things are returning to normal. The ship was very clean, and the deck crew was putting a lot of time and effort into painting. As usual, ...

Sublime South Pacific was a beautiful cruise.

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Regatta

I know the Regatta well so it was a pleasure to travel on the newly refurbished ship. Cabin 4056 in category C1 Deluxe outside seemed like it was in a good position so that was my choice for this cruise out of Papeete, Tahiti to Sydney, Australia. I have travelled in an assortment of different cabins and categories on Regatta in Alaska and the Mediterranean and it has been fine every time. ...

I am enjoying the cruise and observe many happy guests. The crew has been amazing and Corey Powell is doing a great job as Cruise Director. Very effective and a really nice guy! He and the entertainment staff did a great job on the "Showdown" performance. The crew work so hard to please all of the guests. The crew seems to be enjoying this Transoceanic cruise as well. Most of them work long ...

It is Day 14 of our 18 day cruise from Tahiti to Sydney. I am enjoying the cruise and observe many happy guests. The crew has been amazing and Corey Powell is doing a great job as cruise director. In addition to all of the standard announcements that he is required to give, he adds some humor and fun. A really nice guy as well! All of the crew work so hard to please all of the guests even ...
