Everything Just a Little Better Than Most

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Thanks to my fellow cruise critics for your Equinox reviews. They are spot on. Everything about this ship is just a little better than most. We thought our experience was a good value and would recommend it.. We are senior travelers. The ship provided everything we wanted from a cruise. All of the public areas have a large and luxurious feel to them. The elevators are well planned and ...

We had a wonderful cruise to the southern Caribbean. We usually sail on Princess, but this ship had a great itinerary and a good price. This ship is going into dry dock and our balcony showed signs of wear. There was lots of rust , but maintenance came and painted it to give it a better look. The paint smell was a little overpowering. The food was delicious and escargot, shrimp cocktail, and ...

Broke away from the breakaway class ships and loved it.

Our first NCL cruise was on spirit (amazing cruise) but all bigger ships since. Didn’t think we’d go back to a small older ship till we saw this itinerary. 13 Caribbean islands on a 14 day cruise, no sea days, leaving from Dominican Republic. Took a few days to adjust to the layout and know our way around. Bliss lounge took the place of the atrium and we loved it. Much more seating but ...

Excellent cruise with awesome ports

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Jade

To get away from winter weather up north. Price and latitude extras were also an incentive. We enjoy sailing on Norwegian. We also liked the BOGO airfare making it a better bargain. It was our first time booking a window cabin after several cruises with a balcony. It was a fine trade for reducing our cost as we just sailed most of these ports in November. The specialty restaurants were ...

Fantastic voyage

My husband and I just got back from a 14 day Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Jade. We had a great time. The check in process was quite quick, and we were on the ship by 12:30 enjoying lunch and cocktails. By 4:00 our cabin was ready. We had an inside cabin which was quite small, but we were hardly ever in it, just to sleep, shower, and get changed. The food and service were very good. I ...

Superb Cruise Yet Again

This was our 6th cruise with Celebrity. We are in our eighties and have cruised 19 times. This was a cruise to the Dutch Islands of the Caribbean. As usual we made use of an outstanding cruise consultant with Expedia Cruises. All the necessary information is on the Celebrity web site. The Celebrity App is really needed to avoid confusion. However, in our case, going cruising is ...

Great Service, Food and Amenities

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

After reading dozens of reviews here about the Equinox, I echo just about everything mentioned. The ship is in excellent shape for being 15 years old and the lack of even a single outlet on either side of the bed was a sore point with my wife and I. Even the two outlets on the desk fell way short of what we required. Thankfully Celebrity fixed this on the newer ships such as the Beyond, which we ...

Great Time on NCL

My wife and I enjoyed our 11 day NCL cruise on the Jade very much. The food was excellent as was the entertainment. Every evening we went to the Stardust Theater and enjoyed a variety of entertainment from a comedian, singers, Blazing Boots Show, acrobatics, even the hypnotist was fun. We enjoyed the gym every day. The equipment was nice with plenty of room to work out as we choose. We had ...

Lots to do and a port-heavy itinerary!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

This was a great trip. The Jewel is one of the smaller ships but it was perfect for this intinerary because it was so port-heavy. I wouldn't reccomend getting the drink package on this one. It seems like a great idea at first but if you plan to leave the ship every day to visit the islands, it would be more economical to just buy your drinks individually. We chose this cruise because we've ...

Great 28 days on the Constellation

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We were 28 days on the Connie 3 cruise back to back starting January 24th. We felt that the ship condition was very good. You had to look for problems. It is ready for a refurbishment, but some imperfections didn't affect our enjoyment of the cruise. We like the smaller ships, so the Connie was a good choice for us. The cabin was clean and very serviceable. Overall, the entire ship was clean. ...
