A cruise with good entertainment

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Pacifica

User Avatar

First Time Cruiser • Age 20s

Embarking and disembarking were easy and quick. The cabin (although was a little small) was comfortable and clean. The food (dinner) was a little disappointing in terms of portion but is very tasty. The facilities were good but i was expecting a little more things to do while sailing. The pools and hot tubs were always busy so didn’t get to enjoy them. However, we found ourselves enjoying a vast ...

Early misgivings over what to expect from recent reviews were dismissed as soon as we got to the Mayflower Cruise Terminal, boarding was seamless, from check in to a glass in hand was just 20 minutes, Our Deluxe Cabin starboard/aft was large with an extended non overlooked balcony. it was clean spacious with a lovely touch of Champagne and Chocolates, a welcome return of dressing gowns and ...

Southern Caribbean in March on Equinox

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Six seniors, 72 and up, 4 from Phoenix, 2 from Washington felt this sailing took us to new Caribbean ports. We normally prefer Celebrity and this ship was well rated, good sail date for our needs with reasonable pricing. Two couples in inside cabins and one in a balcony. PRE BOARDING: We flew in the day before, a Sunday and all stayed at Residence Inn on Anglers in Dania Beach. The provided ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

Embarkation was confusing but prompt. (The ship was full.) The crowd was almost all over 55. I think we saw 8 kids - all under 6. Our bags were in our room quickly. The online safety checkin was quick. Our room was more spacious that I expected. The shower was nice sized. The balcony easily accommodated the two of us. Adequate drawer and closet space. Getting power to our CPAPs was ...

Enjoyable Caribbean cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

User Avatar

I went on this cruise with relatives who were celebrating a big anniversary and I was in a solo studio. This was my first time on the Epic and I had a great cruise but my experience was likely very different from others who sailed on this ship recently. Reasons for this may be because this cruise had fewer people on it than others recently and it seemed as though there was a lot of new staff. I ...

Celebrity Has Lost a Touch of Shine

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

We have been on over 20 Celebrity cruises and have attained Elite Plus status. This was our eight time on the Equinox (visiting the same ports we've visited for years), but the first time in 5 years. We were on a back to back (19 days at sea), so the review includes our experiences on the 9 Night Aruba, Curacao & Cayman Cruise. Below I outline what we found to be the good, the not-so-good and ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Aurora

It was when Lorena, Sous Chef in the Horizon self-service restaurant, asked me on the first morning what sort of bread I preferred for my breakfast toast that I had an inkling that Aurora was going to deliver something special. The 65-night Grand Tour to the USA and Caribbean certainly did that, starting each day with seeded bread for my toast, baked by Lorena and cheerfully delivered to my table ...

Amazing itinerary, Old ship with some issues

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We have always booked exclusively for itinerary and not the ship, but now we are going to change that to both. The itinerary was Princess Cays, St. Thomas, Dominica, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Guadeloupe, and Antigua. Antigua was such a pleasant surprise and it really stole the show for us! Such a breathtakingly beautiful island with super friendly locals. We took an excursion ...

Good Cruise to the Amazon

Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

User Avatar

10+ Cruises • Age 60s

My wife and I just finished a 25 day cruise to the Amazon River in Brazil on the Regent Seven Seas Mariner. We are in our mid 60s and have cruised over 30 times mostly on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. This was our first “luxury cruise”. The itinerary was round trip Miami with many stops in the Caribbean and 3 days up the Amazon River to Manaus, Brazil. Everything was included in the fare – ...
