As elite celebrity members we dicided to sample a RCi cruise on the new Anthem of the Seas. We were ported automatically to Diamond class which was giving us similar benefits that we have been used to on Celebrity. Our first impressions were as follows Southampton check -in only half the check in desks were being used and although were were priority boarding , had to wait about half an ...

Did not live upto my expectations from other RCI Cruises

This ship is nowhere near as impressive both visually and with the package delivered to the guest as other RCI ships. One of its main problems is the sheer number of people on board? They have increased the number of passengers on board but have not increased the length of our number of sessions of each activity. It was almost impossible to get involved in any of the onboard activities unless you ...

Before this cruise I had only been on NCL 5 times, so I had expectations of Royal Caribbean to exceed the experiences I have had on NCL. Unfortunately I was disappointed in several areas, and amazed at others. So in the round it was ok, but there are lots of issues. Boarding: This was an absolute joy, we were given a time to arrive to board the ship. We were foot passengers so finding where ...

This was our 3rd Cunard cruise this year. The first was on the Queen Mary 2 Atlantic crossing from West to East, as this was our 40th wedding anniversary treat we traveled Britannia Club class and we were very happy with it. We then treated ourselves to a Mediterranean cruise on the Queen Elizabeth, also Britannia Club class and, probably due to the superb restaurant service we enjoyed it more ...

We had a lovely room, well two R746 & R748, they were situated at the aft and provided a good base as we were near the pool, buffet & kids club, the kids club did not allow self signing for our 10yr old, this was very inconvenient as we were always clock watching, this is the first time we have had this problem as RCI, Thompson and Disney allow self signing, this was a definite negative point, ...

Having previously cruised on the Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth we were very much looking forward to a sampler trip on the Queen Mary 2 before booking a Trans-Atlantic trip. Unfortunately it failed to live up to our expectations in many respects. Our table in the dining room was in a very dark and dismal position and the tables in our section were long tables rather than the normal round ...

We undertook a short taster cruise with Cunard , to Zeebruger and La Harve. Embarkation was the high point of the cruise. We booked quay side parking. Drove up beside the boat, unloaded luggage, and car was parked for us. Check in was quick and painless. Arrived at our cabin luggage had been placed inside, Could not get into our room as cases were blocking the small entrance into the main room ...

Avalon Creativity is a wonderful boat to be on. The room was comfortable and use of space is great. We managed to unpack all four pieces of luggage and store them under the bed. The staff were wonderful, professional and hardworking. The meals were delicious and there was quite a variety on offer. The coffee was devine; we loved it from the first sip. I was puzzled that at the Captain's Dinner ...

I agree with previous comments about this cruise. My wife and I have been regular Celebrity cruisers and were very disappointed about the downturn in Celebrity standards. Food in the main restaurant is now all "plated up" and as a result is not sufficiently hot. additional vegetables can and were requested but again arrived lukewarm and overcooked.Someone in the Celebrity management has obviously ...
