Give Regal a pass for another Princess ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

Least favourite of Princess ships. Food is of poorer quality even though the dinner menu is the same on all Princess ships. ventilation system is extremely poor. Did they forget about COVID on this ship. Had many issues on ship but these were addressed quickly ie. shower didn’t work, food was cold in dining room and dirty balcony with broken glass. I am now officially turned off Princess cruises. ...

No more P&O for us

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azura

We will not travel with P&O again, having done many cruises with them previously. The food was poor, even in the main dining room. Eating nice food is what you look forward to on a cruise but the evening meal became an issue many nights ( lack of variety in the menu, desserts we couldn't eat, no variety in the vegetables, steak requested medium and arrives well done, dry and tough. The ice cream ...

Did Norwegian know where we going?

Review for a Africa Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

I was disappointed with this cruise. I think NCL had a chance to make it something special but chose not to. We had only sailed on Norwegian once before and had not particularly enjoyed it but the itinerary that NCL originally offered with stops in West Africa, Cape Verde and Morocco was so unusual and interesting that we decided to give Norwegian another go. The first disappointment was that ...

Trouble on NCL Dawn in Africa

Review for a Africa Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

There is something definitely wrong on this ship. I got a stomach virus after 3 days of sailing and was put in isolation. After taking my medicine, I barely are for the subsequent 3 days. And, I got the bug, again. I traced my problem to a common denominator: Caesar Salad. The Captain ordered that crews must serve passengers in the buffet area. We aren't even allowed to get water by ourselves. ...

Not for non English speakers!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

Pros.. the balcony room was of a good size and didn't disappoint. The excursions were well organised but only in English. free shuttles from some of the ports to town centre were offered. The entertainment was good enough. Cons... the ship deals only in English. Excursions only offered in English even though departing from Athens. Everything is geared towards American traveller; the air ...

Totally disappointed

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I wish I would’ve googled this ship before we booked, but I guess I gotta learn somehow. This was our first cruise with Norwegian and everyone was ranting and raving about how great everything is. The only thing they had going for them was embarkment and disembarking, that was super easy as long as you know what you are doing. Our room had a hull balcony, which is fine because I knew what those ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Ventura

We choose Ventura for the ports of call. Alas, three were cancelled but the ports we did call at were in the main okay during our 35 night sailing. Never again on Ventura, the food was of poor quality, the service, hit and miss, the entertainment average, I don't think anyone would watch the acts if they appeared at venues other than on a cruise. The cabins, managed to a Travel Lodge standard, ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Ventura

I travelled on P&O for first time and selected the ship Ventura. This was my first mistake, the ship has no wow factor like I've experienced with other brands. My biggest mistake was choosing P&O as their staff in Bars and Restaurants simply don't seem to care. 1) ordered wine with dinner, it turned up whilst I was eating my desert. 2) I asked to order a drink at a bar. It Was ...

Tired and Old

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Azura

The value of the cruise was good but once onboard the experience is not great. The ship is tired and old , really needs a modern update. MY cabin was in need of updating and cabin staff just seem stressed and miserable. We were allocated a great table at The Oriental but no Sommelier so the poor waiting staff are stressed out trying to get the hot food and cope with taking drinks orders which is ...
