No more P&O for us

We will not travel with P&O again, having done many cruises with them previously. The food was poor, even in the main dining room. Eating nice food is what you look forward to on a cruise but the evening meal became an issue many nights ( lack of variety in the menu, desserts we couldn't eat, no variety in the vegetables, steak requested medium and arrives well done, dry and tough. The ice cream ...

Infinity still great!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

A 23 year old ship is never going to be impressive compared to a glitzy new one, but you know that before you board. What Infinity might lack in the the latest pizzazz it more than makes up for in style and friendliness and the recent dry-dock has left her nicely smartened up. Many carpets, furniture and beds have been replaced. (They even renewed many balcony chairs mid cruise). Being a ...

The ship is very poor and needs a full refit. Lots of toilets out of order, hazard tape on floor, viruses on board. Main dining room up selling of food now if you want quality. Long wait for tables in evening. The buffet areas close when they want them to, mainly roast chicken diner and curry both lunch and evening meal, choice of food is very poor. The headliners team do provide good shows but ...

Pros.. the balcony room was of a good size and didn't disappoint. The excursions were well organised but only in English. free shuttles from some of the ports to town centre were offered. The entertainment was good enough. Cons... the ship deals only in English. Excursions only offered in English even though departing from Athens. Everything is geared towards American traveller; the air ...

Have cruised many times, usually on P and O, this time we flew to Tenerife, cruised around Canaries, Madeira, mainland Spain, Sardinia, and Greece. We really enjoyed the ports, flights were good too. The staff on board Azura were lovely, very hard working and always willing to please. Our cabin was a balcony and light and airy, but showing its age. However, we found all the cutbacks took ...

Firstly let me say that I read over 100 reviews of Infinity before the cruise. The average score, below 3 out of 5 with many scoring it 1, made it difficult to predict how enjoyable this cruise would be. This was my first Celebrity cruise although my wife & daughter sailed on Equinox about 12 yrs ago. For us the biggest plusses on this cruise were the staff, the entertainment & the ...

The majority of our past cruises have been with Royal Caribbean (RCI) and we have been happy with RCI but we wanted to try something different so we traded up to Celebrity and booked a cruise on Celebrity Infinity for March 2024. Not worth it. The only advantage over RCI that we could see was a larger shower. The food was in no way better than our RCI cruises in fact the Celebrity menu and buffet ...

Great cruise in a refurbished ship with good ports of call

Loved this cruise. Certainly helped by great weather and low price but also had very interesting ports of call of Thessaloniki (where we overnighted, and especially enjoyed), Kusadasi, Limassol, Rhodes and Heraklion. I've reviewed all of these in the relevant Ports of Call sections). Ship itself looking good after a refit, staff very cheerful and helpful, and food variable but generally good ...

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

Incredibly disillusioned

We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...
