Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

Lack of food options is impressive. They don’t even have a pizza place. Becomes a food dessert at 9 pm. Only options in a “late night” restaurant include: sauerkraut, chili as a meal, and hot dog. Not even chicken fingers or pizza. Only things will make your gut feel worse than it already does from whatever hospital like food you ate earlier. Large portion of casinos slot machines don’t work ...

DO NOT RECOMMEND- TERRIBLE SERVICE

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

To say the least, the service on this cruise ship was horrible. Every bar is a nightmare to get a drink and unorganized. Communication between their own crewmates was horrible with so many workers not knowing where to find things or have correct info often even giving us false information. Unless you could sleep with nonstop alarms and sirens going off in the mornings, noone was still asleep past ...

Haven Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

I have recently seen lots of bad reviews of the Breakaway, and wanted to add a more positive one. The Good: Although the ship is older and showing some wear, we found everything to be very clean. There was always someone cleaning, polishing, and sweeping the elevator lobbies and stairwells, etc. We did experience the issue with our toilet not working one day, but a quick call to housekeeping ...

Haven Not Worth It

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Jade

The Haven is not worth the money. First day we were forgotten and waited a very long time to be helped, there was a stain on my son’s bed, in room phone wouldn’t stay charged most of the time so if we needed anything we had to find our butler, we had the drink package but if we ordered drinks to our room we would be charged, no free laundry services, empty mini fridge, warm welcome champagne, ...

Good Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Our cruise was great. The weather was sunny and warm. The ship was well maintained and they had a very friendly crew. Shows and entertainment were very good. Only two disappointments: The first one was that the Garden Buffet too small and there was not a great selection of food options. The second one: the casino did not have a non-smoking area, reeked of smoke and was very dark and uninviting ...

This was our first ever cruise , home now with Covid which isn't NCL fault , Food was very much same every day ( got boring ) unless your eating in the specialty restaurants , Le bistro was by far the best meal , went to the MODERNO CHURRASCARIA which was awful , chicken was served and was blood raw in parts , side dishes of potato etc was served 20 minutes before anything else so was cold ...

No More SKY For Me

First I must say the staff on this cruise was GREAT!!! Unfortunately, they are working on a poorly designed ship. All areas of entertainment are far too small. The Stardust Theater only supplied entertainment every other night. If you were not at port and were not interested in gambling or playing "Wheel of Fortune" then you were simply out of luck most of the time. When they would have a ...

Late ship boarding.

i was on this ship 20 years ago, but the trip I just got off of was not the same experience. First of all, the room we had smelled musty, which was bad for my allergies. Our cabin steward did not leave the animal towels, which we looked forward to (not really a big deal). I really hated having to walk through the smokey casino to get to the Broadway theater every night...and that smoke seemed ...

Disappointed

The ship needs help, way too small and a bit crusty. Smelled musty in several areas. We prefer a smaller ship but this was disappointing. Buffet was a joke, extremely small with very little selection. Chicken at the carving station 5 days in a row! Ship is difficult to maneuver, you have to go thru the cafeteria to get to the pool, the casino to get to the shops. The casino was extremely ...

Had an amazing experience for a first time cruiser

This was my first cruise and sure won’t be my last. Had a memorable experience. Can’t say enough how friendly and inviting the staffs were. They were all smiles dealing with about 4,000 people on board. There were alot of food options. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, pizza, seafood, burgers, sushi, dessert and more..plenty to enjoy. Activities for kids to seniors. Just a little bit of ...
