This message is to warn anyone planning on having a Carnival cruise wedding to NOT DO IT! If it weren’t for my family and friends the entire memory would be a disaster! I planned a carnival cruise wedding on the sensation on July 30,2019. Upon deciding that I would have the wedding with Carnival I submitted all my documents necessary so that the wedding planner on board would be informed of all ...

Horrible customer service

We have been on several cruises from Carnival, Royal Carribean, and Disney Cruise Line. We have spent as little as $200 to as much as $1,000 per person on cruises. Before leaving we made sure we dotted all our “I’s” and crossed all of our “t’s” as far as passport and visas go. My husband has dual citizenship (Brazilian, and American) and his American passport was expired so we made sure that we ...

Worst vacation of my life!!

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

Everyone talks about how awesome cruises are. On Norwegian I had just the opposite experience. To start I was pleasantly surprised by the quickness of boarding the ship that was awesome. In heading to my room on the 10th floor upon opening the elevator I was startled by the smell of raw sewage. To be honest if I wanted to smell raw sewage I’ll go get a job at the local water treatment plant. ...

Not worth going to Cuba. Waste of money.

Norwegian Sky needs more renovation. Cabin was in sad shape. Food had little taste. Buffet was mass quantity of the same food every day. Cuba needs to be seen on a misson not on a tour bus. Tour operator knew the party line, however, the 6 hr. tour is a waste to spend an hour at a cigar/rum store, 2.5+ hours at lunch (waiting for other buses to show up) with bland food and no talent dancers, and ...

Stay away from Cuba (and Carnival)!

We took the cruise to see Cuba. The first stop was Key West, which was great (as always) but way too short of a stopover. Cuba is a beautiful country and most of the people we met were quite nice, but guarded, The tour guides could hardly speak English and were propaganda robots for the Cuban government, but the Taxi driver was great (and he got a big tip). My biggest problems were the ...

Horrible Experience

Let me preface this review by stating that we have taken many cruises, on Princess as well as Carnival and have never had an unpleasant experience, until now, on Norwegian. When we choose to spend our hard-earned money on a cruise vacation, that price includes not only the monetary cost of the trip, but the use of valuable vacation days as well as the travel costs incurred to arrive at the ...

February cruise to Havana

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

The cruise was chosen because of the destination. I was very interested in going to Havana, Cuba. We booked a personal, private tour there which was fabulous. We did not get to Great Stirrup Key because of rough seas. Since we had to tender to the island it would have been dangerous. Having had a dangerous tender experience on a Norwegian cruise years ago, I was very happy to just have ...

This was my 5th cruise overall. Ship stunk horribly, even outside like sewer. Not appealing when you are trying to eat or enjoy sun. I booked a shoe excursion in Stirrup Cay online and printed a paid confirmation only to have them not honor the paid receipt because the excusution was over booked, I paid and booked the event a month in advance. Was delayed by 4 hours in Cuba because of ...

This was our third experience with Norwegian after sailing on the Breakaway twice. We chose this cruise for our family of 4 which included myself, my husband and 2 young adult daughters, ages 23 and 19. We were looking forward to time away as a family during the holiday season. We chose the Sky only for the Cuba itinerary as we have been to the Caribbean numerous times and wanted to try ...

Took our money but did not take us to the destination

To have a cultural experience in Cuba We were there in the dark. Skipped one Island, too windy. Not other ships were there. Should have had a full day and 1/2 of another. We had a dock time of AM, We got there in pm. So dark you could not see anything. On the tour, they told us to take pictures in the total dark. It was a day schedule, that did not leave until dark The three-hour tour ...
