Mostly good, but the bad was really bad.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sun

We're not among those that are habitual cruisers. At 62, we've probably been on 15 in our lifetime. We like the convenience once in a while and just the ease of travel and leisurely feel. Have been on Cunard, RC, and Celebrity. This is our 2nd with Norwegian (first was right before pandemic in Hawaii). While I'd say the lines overall are similar, Norwegian is probably my least favorite. ...

Ship is very tired

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

We sailed on the Pearl since it hosted a musical cruise we were interested in. Our balcony cabin on the 9th deck was clean and the bed was comfortable but several maintenance issues were very apparent. We noticed torn wallpaper near where a coat hook had been installed and a light fixture looked liked it had been bounced around a bit and could have used a replacement with something that wasn’t ...

Great food; no private areas outside to get away from the noise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Mid ship / Deck 9 Balcony Room Pros: Excellent / Great food (all beef is angus beef) - never over cooked as we experienced both times on Royal Caribbean. By far the best food on any cruise line we've experienced. Excellent customer service No seasickness due to captain/pilot's experience on large swells on last day of cruise No lines for Starbucks Cons: *No place to get away ...

Fun time, would sail Carnival again

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Magic

The ship was a bit dated and in big need of painting and refurbishing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. The shows were lacking for sure. They had a great band Lady and the Vamps in the Ocean Plaza and a few other great musicians but that was about it. No productions or dancing. I’m just giving you the honest opinion. A few tips were added on our receipts as ...

Food poor quality and ship in need of an update

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

The MDR service was good but the food was just not edible. The saving grace was the dessert. My mom ordered a NY steak strip medium, however it was more like a skirt steak and it was well done and tough. I ordered chicken on two nights and both nights the chicken texture and flavor was not good. Even for breakfast our toast was not toasted, it was still soft. My daughter ordered the free ...

Absolutely Overrated

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We chose this cruise due to it lining up with our kids spring break, our kids are 15 & 14. My wife and I quit drinking several years ago so your experience may differ from ours if you "partake in festivities". The onboarding process was much quicker and smoother than I expected given the amount of security you go thru. The room was neat, clean and had a large window compared to other ships that ...

Royal Caribbean was a Royal Flush (not the poker kind)

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We chose this cruise as a "get our feet wet" family cruise, and it was also our oldest sons senior high school cruise. He is 17 and we have 2 other boys 9 and 16. Boarding went smooth and we were all excited to see this magnificent ship up close - once we boarded, the entire ship smelled like a port-a-potty - YUK - so Allure smelled a lot like manure - but eventually that went away, and we ...

The good the bad and the ugly

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Vision of the Seas

I was in an ocean view First the good: The crew were fabulous. Attentive, friendly, extremely skilled and eager to please. I can't say enough good about all of my interactions with them all. The "Chef's Table" was superb. I always book this experience whenever I cruise Royal and I was not disappointed. The food was, as always, great, the ambiance was first rate and again, the staff were ...

Great crew, not my favorite ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

My mother and I chose this cruise because it sailed from New Orleans, and we wanted to see NOLA as well as take a cruise. We had previously sailed on the Norwegian Spirit on an Alaskan itinerary and loved it, so I didn't hesitate to book another Norwegian cruise. This ship is not the Norwegian Spirit, but there were aspects that I enjoyed: 1) The crew-- they were helpful and kind. They did ...

So, my new wife and I wanted to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary. We are in older years my wife 64, and me 72. we booked our trip 7 months in advance, of our anniversary. As we live in NW Florida, New Orleans was our departure point. We travelled the day before to be within a 20-mile radius of our day of our departure. Little did we know that our trip was in Spring Break. boarding was ...
