Was looking for a little vacation for my wife and I so we both thought Cruise. We used MSC before and it was ok but we thought it was because of all the excursions we did. Free Balcony with cruise so we booked. During booking process I picked a room that would fit our needs and close to where we wanted to be. During check in at the terminal they told us they switch our rooms and called it an ...
The absolute worst cruise I've ever been on. Filthy rooms, bad food, lost our luggage and never found it ( there was cash inside it), surprise it was never found..lol, extraordinarily rude guest services, our sofa was so filthy we couldn't sit on it, they covered it with a bed sheet! Entertainment was very disappointing. We had trouble with this cruise since 2 days after we made the reservation, ...
Embarkation was fairly smooth considering a coast guard inspection delaying things for a couple hours. Even with the delay we had a drink in our hands by 2:00. Stateroom is the typical balcony stateroom, nothing new and exciting, 5 or 6 channels on the TV. Nick, Toon, Discovery, Nat Geo and Food I believe. 2 channels of continuous bad movies. Only channels available in the sports bar are ESPN ...
Room was very small, Beds made daily but not cleaned, Terrible smell on the Ship, that we were ever told about, 1- Sewer back up on deck 4. 2-Ventalation System, It was terrible. No one would answer our Questions about it, All the way to Nineth floor, and dare not ride the Elevators....Sick one whole day, Headache Eyes burning...The ship itself needs alot of work, very dated and old, sounds like ...
Compared to The Grandeur, Enchantment is very similar. The decor of the Enchantment is a little more streamiined that that of the Grandeur, but both are beautiful ships. Both are "comfortably formal", which I appreciate.
There was an issue of foul odor on our deck, which caused a lot of discomfort, but was finally corrected. The Crew worked 24/7 on the problem. But I realize that this could ...
We chose this cruise because of the price and the port from which it sailed. All in all, it was a great cruise. We've been to the Bahamas four times, so the ports of call weren't anything new and we only got off at Freeport. We just wanted to cruise since it was our first time since Covid.
The crew was spectacular, though it was clear the ship was understaffed. Some bars didn't open or were ...
After cruising multiple times, my crew decided to try MSC since it’s new to our port. We were excited for the new experience and also for the reviews of low numbers of people cruising, thinking that this was going to be amazing for service, wait times etc.
We were wrong- here’s a long list why..
-Most areas closed, coffee bar, beaches, shops, some bar areas
-Limited options, beers, ...
We chose to take this cruise because it left from New Jersey (a port we could drive to) and visited Coco Cay. Embarkation was simple as long as you arrived at your allotted time and NOT EARLY. Otherwise you had to wait in line. We got right in and quickly through the boarding process. The expedite children under 12 so that made it even easier for us.
Anthem is a great cool weather ship. ...
This was my first post-COVID cruise. Please be warned that masks are not required for those that are fully vaccinated, however, I wore my mask by choice. Masks are optional at Royal Caribbean private islands.
The worst was Embarkation at Bayonne. While I understand the process was due to COVID, we had to wait 2 hours in the freezing cold, which we weren't warned about. No refreshments were ...
We cruised in the past with royal carribbean, it was our first cruise experience and we enjoyed that one about 4 years ago!!! And yes high expectations for this recent one we had, last 2 years we had really sad an heavy life moments and we finally was making a trip to relax and enjoy at the same time celebrating our anniversary.. 1st. Beware of credit cards you use in the ship, make sure you ...
