Stick to Carnival

Review for Enchantment of the Seas to Bahamas

We usually cruise on Carnival but thought we’d give Royal Caribbean a try. What a mistake. This ship is old and dirty. It needs a makeover. It smells. The rooms are tiny. The cruise assistants are so unhelpful. Every question we asked we got the response absolutely not. We purchased 2 very expensive cabanas for the Bahamas. They didn’t put us next to each other and told us we had to ask ...

Review for Carnival Magic to Bahamas

Wanted a nice get away to the Bahamas. The cruise itself was great! Lots of options, Great Food (I’m picky too) and many options for kids but…. How about no AC in your room for 4 days, until they fixed it even after calling guest services about it. The fridge in the room wasn’t working either so the water and beer in the room was pointless Of course the cruise line had every room booked (over ...

This is my second time on this ship. The first time was in 2017. I was hoping to see some upgrades but there wasn't. This ship is old and dated. The aft part of the ship must have had some sort of a plumbing issue because the entire side of the ship smelled horrendous. So many people were gagging and were nauseous when they passed by there. The cabin that we had was an Oceanview which was ...

3-Day Bahamas Cruise (Norwegian Sky)

Review for Norwegian Sky to Bahamas

Prior to COVID outbreak, my wife and I have taken this 3-day (weekend) cruise on the Norwegian Sky as a quick getaway from work stress. The Norwegian Sky was refurbished in 2019 and is in immaculate condition. While the Sky does not have the bells and whistles on the larger NCL vessels, it was prefect for a quick getaway. In general, we find the Sail for Free Promotion, where you get ...

Amazing cruise with very friendly staff. My favorite spot was the coffee bar, which had amazing coffee and excellent service. One lady named Cherry went out of her way to make each coffee better than the next. She was super sweet to talk to as well. The food was good and the desserts were Fantastic!! If you go do NOT miss the Diva Show or the Rock Show!! it was incredibly and unforgettable. You ...

My parents booked this cruise for our family. Getting on the boat and checking in went fairly smoothly. We walked around the deck with the pool on floor 9 just checking everything out and we were very disappointed in how small the pool was. We were hoping that what we could do in our free time but it was just so small and filled with children or drunk adults when it was open. They had lots of ...

Loud unruly neighbors

Review for Carnival Liberty to Bahamas

Good ship for a quick 4 day getaway. Room wasn't quite clean and had to get steward to come in and dust and clean a bit. Food was good but not as good as the last cruise in December on the Valor. Really have no major complaint except for the loud next door neighbors. The first night the neighbors were obnoxiously loud and I finally fell asleep sometime after 3 am. The 2nd night called ...

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

Honest Review of MSC Divina First let me say when I review the MSC Divina I do it based on the experiences I have at with NCL (1), Royal Caribbean (1), and Carnival (5). This is my first MSC cruise. Before I get started, I want to say the service was by far the best I have ever had. But there were some things that could be improved as well. I’ll break them down by category and then PRO’s ...

We chose this cruise because we enjoyed our experience 6 years ago when we sailed on it from Florida. We've been on 5 RCI cruises and like the vibe for families. The issues started prior to boarding: 1. Children's in terminal COVID tests took almost 1 hour. Rapid test results typically take at most 15 minutes but they made us wait 1 hour. Our son has autism, and and this was conveyed to the ...

Typical Mid-Range Carnival Cruises Experience

Review for Carnival Sunshine to Bahamas

User Avatar

This was a typical mid-range Carnival experience. It met my expectations but did not exceed my expectations or 'WOW' me. As usual, the main dining room has really gone downhill and it is a shame that specialty dining is required in the evenings for an excellent meal at dinner. Fortunately, breakfast/brunch and a few lunch offerings like Guys Burgers and the pizza place, are excellent in comparison ...
