Choose this 3 day cruise from Melbourne to Sydney in order to use our cruise credit from a cancelled 2020 cruise. We were very happy that Princess had extended the period in which to use the credit. We chose a Club class Mini Suite with the Princess Plus package.

Completed last week a 39 day south Pacific cruise and I am a 3 star mariner.
If you like Pasta, pork and chicken this was the cruise for you.
There were not enough activities on the sea days. lectures were sparse, entertainment was spotty and port talks were very weak. Popcorn for the daily sea days. in the auditorium. was stale and consisted of about one cupful.

Don't be frightened by this review. If you have already booked, you will not have a bad time on this cruise ship. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. HOWEVER, if you have not already booked, I suggest you consider another ship.
The QM2 is aging and due for a re-ft later this year. There's a lot of rust and stains around deck, in restaurants and our cabin. It clearly shows the wear from all those ...

We are New Zealanders and chose this cruise as it left from Auckland and we had cruise credits to utilise. We have travelled on several cruise lines and this was our first Holland America cruise and our last.
Embarkation was at 2.40 pm and with the Verifly app was very quick we were on the ship in 15 minutes. A Negative Pre boarding COVID test was a requirement.

We chose this cruise because it ended in Sydney where we spent a week with relatives. In 2017 we did a similar cruise on the same ship which started in Sydney and ended in Hong Kong. Because of lack of maintenance during Cuvard, the ship's hull had not been de-fouled to the satisfaction of the New Zealand authorities and thus not being able to enter a number of ports including Milford Sound, the number one cruise attraction for New Zealand.
