Big Disappointment

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Resilient Lady

After reading all the great reviews we thought this would be a great cruise and our first post covid. We aren't greatly experienced cruisers but have sailed a couple of times in Celebrity Aqua Class. We originally booked a verandah cabin but won a bid on a Brilliant Suite and finished up paying close to the same price as the Retreat on a Celebrity cruise. The cabin came with a stocked bar but it ...

this was our first cruise so I don't have any baseline to compare it with or didn't have any expectations other than what you usually consider an all inclusive vacation package. the Virgin voyage met all our check marks for an all inclusive vacation package. the staff were working hard to keep the ship in a pristine condition and provide excellent customer service. everyone from Gally ...

We did a back to back from Barcelona to Athens (4-9 May) and then Athens to Athens ( 9-19 May). I must say all the crew are very professional, helpful and very friendly. The room was very spaces and well laid out. All the Restaurants were of high standard, food and service. We enjoyed the first leg very much, big thanks to all the crew. Unfortunately the second leg was not very good. The ...

Not a lot of vegan variety for 6+ days

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

I wrote a great review specific to the crew (truly amazing) the amenities, etc. Overall we had a great experience but I did want to add constructive criticism, however, as an add on. 1) Food. I wish there were more vegan options. For a transatlantic cruise, my group and I ran out of options (without eating the same thing over and over), relatively quickly. For protein options, there’s tofu and ...

Some Good, Some Not So Good

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

This is really a mixed review. Overall the food was very good. Pink Agave and Gunbae were exceptional. The Test Kitchen was a disaster and the food was not good. The Wake was good, but not great. and the Italian food in Extra Virgin was mostly very good. We only ate breakfast in The Galley, but most of what we tried was very good. The staff throughout the ship was exceptional. Tips are ...

Smooth sailing and fun itinerary

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

This was our second time on the Scarlet lady. The first time was a couple of years ago and towards the end of Covid, so there was half as many passengers and we had a much bigger room and bathroom. This time we had a standard balcony room with a much smaller bathroom and that was my choice because it was such a short cruise. But I think I forgot how small Cruise bathrooms can be.. There were twice ...

Virgin adults only cruise worth every penny!

This was a first cruise for my sister and me. We were unsure what to expect and Virgin did not disappoint us. The customer service from every single staff member was outstanding. They were always happy to help and genuinely appeared to enjoy their work. The cabin (Sea Terrace) on deck 10 fit both of us and we didn’t feel crammed. It was a small cabin but it worked just fine as it was really ...

BACKGROUND: We stayed in a Seriously Suite Aft cabin. We are in our mid 60's. EMBARKATION: This went very well. We were one of the first one the ship. The only complaint we had was, we had been told our "Agent" would be there to meet us and help with reservations. That did not happen, but I did manage to find someone to help. CABIN: The balcony was huge, and we loved the padded ...

Our first cruise, and it did not disappoint. The service and food are both outstanding. Everything was convenient and the atmosphere is very relaxed. People are friendly. There are lots of things to do, or places to hang out and do nothing. The bars are great and prices are reasonable. We enjoyed Pink Agave and the Test Kitchen. Brunch at the Wake was also very good. The pastries and baked goods ...

Great cruise. Entertaining, great food, upscale amenities, and very friendly staff. This was our first cruise and we talked about how we are going to be spoiled for future cruises. Perfect for couples and very social atmosphere. The weather was perfect for us and we found time to relax and enjoys the peaceful atmosphere. We stopped in Grand Turks and Bimini which were both beautiful islands to ...
