Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

Embarkation was very easy and quick, the buffet was descent, pretty warm in restaurant most of the time and pretty much same food every day. The main dinning food was not bad but compared to past cruises lack quality and variety. Public restrooms not always clean and many had maintenance issues. Our rooms were average and outdated. Our AC was not very cold compared to other rooms, after trying to ...

This was my first cruise, and it was our honeymoon, the best stuff I was impressed by how hospital everyone is, the ship we found out was the oldest and smallest of all of the royal Caribbean Cruise ships, So we can imagine how bigger ones must be. I enjoy there was plenty to do, plenty to eat, relax, And a good dose of entertainment, the comedian, and the magician or fantastic as well. I would go ...

There were five of us traveling from ages 21 years old to 51 years old, we had the drink packages. We ate breakfast in the Windjammer together, lunch and snacks all over the ship on our own and dinner at the dining room together nightly. The food (taste and prsentaton), service (all areas), pools (adult and family), Casion, and entertainment (shows, games, music, parties, karaoke, etc.) were ...

Well. ... Room. Wheel chair cabin, big nice & roomy, But ramp to balcony, rate 1.5, was an after thought. If was using an E-Scooter, no way. My Wife kept tripping on the ramps. In king bed setup, Honey set off alarm because the emergenchy cord and switch, was at her pilow. The Euro power plug had been neglected for along time, busted prongs in socket and a screw, they fixed it. The ...

This was our first cruise and first time leaving the country! We are a family of three. Myself, my wife and our 7 year old son. We absolutely loved our trip, and have already booked our next one for December! Celinez and Dody in the MDR were fantastic! Mark (the head waiter) was a GEM as well! They had all kinds of origami made for our son whenever we arrived for dinner. The stateroom was an ocean ...

Grandeur Was Far From Grand

As Diamond Plus Members on Royal we can tell you this was the worst experience we have ever encountered. The ship was in deplorable condition, the rooms were dirty, the casino was full of dirty ashtrays and glasses and the staff was indifferent and some were just plain rude. The food was deplorable in the dining room and the head waiter was wearing a dirty, soiled suit jacket. The ...

Nothing "Grand" - Retire this ship

Nothing "grand" about this ship "grandeur of the seas" and we obviously overpaid for the old, rusty, unkempt condiiton of the ship. This ship should be taken out of the ranks. I've been on another royal caribbean cruise (oasis of the seas) and never thought i would do another royal caribbean again because is was not fantastic but this was the dumps. My husband and i cruised norwegian september ...

We take an anniversary trip every year and so we decided to do a cruise out of Tampa for this one. We drove down and had no issues with parking or getting on the ship. Everyone was super helpful and wonderful with getting on board. We were on a 5 night cruise and from the get go the cruise was absolutely wonderful. We got away to get away from the kids as we have 3 and this ship was perfect for ...

There is a list, despite being fresh out of drydock there were many restrooms not operational, at times including the one in our stateroom. Our bed was extremely uncomfortable. The WiFi was incredibly spotty and in our stateroom dropped connection regularly. Many of the representatives were on the boat were very new and did not know how to answer questions, many with a severe language barrier. ...
