Excellent Vacation With Teens

Review for a Cruise to Nowhere Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We booked this cruise as this ship seemed to offer lots of entertainment and dining options. Our fourteen and seventeen year old daughters loved the teen club Entourage and made a group of friends that they spent every evening with. We loved the various restaurants and seldom visited the buffet, with the exception of my oldest daughter who went to the buffet multiple times a day. Cagney's was my ...

Here is our opinion of this fabulous ship: LIKED+ • LOVED the ship itself. It’s new and beautiful so what’s not to love. • We had a D7 balcony cabin which was great. Lots of storage closets and drawers too. The best part was the balcony: nice and large with 2 chairs that reclined and footstools (that stored under the chairs) to make it into your own lounger. LOVE THAT. These balconies ...

Bad and the Very Good

Hi everyone, I was on the Anthem of the Seas last week. For months and months I have read horrible reviews about everything on this ship, from slow service to the food being bad to the people not knowing whats going on. I am sure you can read the other reviews. I can tell you one thing which was the worse thing about this cruise: The passengers. Not all of them but the loud, frustrated ...

Having perused the reviews before we left, I was a bit unsure as to whether my best mate had made the right choice for this one......How wrong I was!!!! A fantastic ship, with the staff being more than helpful, even when I had an accident and ended up in a wheelchair for the weekend! The food and service for the whole duration, was second to none, and the prices were more than reasonable. ...

We did the three night sampler cruise out of Sydney 11-14 February 2016 on Explorer of the Seas. We booked a Junior Suite, 9568, which was large and had heaps of storage, a bath, walk in robe, extra large private balcony, a three seater lounge plus two armchairs plus two other chairs - one at the 'desk' and one at the 'vanity'. We slept well in the comfortable bed and the room had no ship movement ...

I felt the need to write this review because I went on a cruise to nowhere 2 days on and off... Staff didn't have to go out of there way... Yet they did. Bartenders, room attendants, waiters, casino staff... Everyone exceptional. I love NCL and this just confirmed why.. This was my thitd time on this ship and I love it. Passengers were a little different on this trip a kind of strange ...

I was a bit wary of cruising mainly due to seasickness experienced on car ferries from UK to France. I decided to take the plunge with my experienced cruiser family. To my delight, I didn't feel nauseous at all. We had a great cabin on deck 6 which was quiet and well appointed with a cheerful steward looking after us. The ship was very clean and hand sanitizer is used in every food area. The crew ...

We just got back from Norwegian Cruise to nowhere that started from New Orleans. We were booked from 11/13/15-11/15/15. It was party of 10 that went on a three days cruise. It is our first time to cruise in United States. It was three family and 10 members. We (three of us) stayed at stateroom 11130 on eleventh floor, room with balcony. We are absolutely amazed with service, organization ...

Anthem of the Seas - Truly a WOW!

We have just returned from a 3-day ‘taster cruise’ on the brand new Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas! If you’ve seen any of the advertising, the word ‘WOW’ features heavily. We can honestly report that it is an apt description of the incredible ship, its features and the service onboard. We had completed the online checkin process at home (including ‘uploading’ a photo) and printed our ...

We were very excited when we booked the holiday, it was the first time on a cruise for us and there was soo much hype surrounding the cruise, Anthem of the seas, we couldn't wait to get on-board. However, there were soo many negative reviews on its sister cruise, Quantum of the seas, actually negative reviews on cruises in general that it was surprising. People were complaining on everything form ...
