Ahh, vacation at sea!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Crown Princess

With this being our 11th cruise, I think it's safe to say we have become addicts. Unpack once, a lot pampering (the wife loves that part), meeting new people and just relaxing! So we are some of those people who prefer to book an interior. In part because we prefer to spend on more cruises than on the room itself. We have read the arguments but for us, interior is fine. I did notice that the ...

This was a qualifying casino VIP cruise for a future super VIP casino cruise. The casino staff did a great job with various enjoyable activities for the casino VIP passengers. Casino waiters need to pay more attention to drink orders, get the details right. The main stage entertainment shows are stale, same shows different dancers. The comedians were excellent. My biggest complaint is that ...

I have cruised 4 times on this ship and it is clearly past its prime. We had a wonderful cruise to the So Caribbean, great weather and good itinerary. We had to skip Princess Cays but were given OBC of $120pp to make up for it. I was able to get some credit for unused punches on an old coffee card and a barrel chair in the room. We had a balcony mid ship cabin B430, the mattress was terrible. They ...

This was a first cruise for me and the first time in the Caribbean. I wish there would have been something or someone to explain how some of the options on the ship worked. The fine dinning was phenomenal! Excellent food and for the most part great wait staff! We always choose to share a table with others and got to meet many people from various walks of life! Our steward was wonderful! We felt ...

Like the Crown Princess - gym is excellent - many cardio machines, weight machines and free weights. I had never been to some of the ports. Queen Sea Poker tournament Leaves from and returns to Fort Lauderdale. Love the Medallion- love the “ on demand movies” in the room. - great variety and new ones daily ! I was SO disappointed with the food choices- but on the “ up ...

The ship is excellence , clean and comfortable. Entertainments all are boring and good for children!! Food is very good ,everything were fresh and tasty.very good made pastry . Excursion which booked by ship all are very expensive and the tours take you anywhere they prefer ,there are lots of private tours when you arrive to any island with very good price, only you should pay cash ...

We chose this cruise because there were three ports to which we had never been. Since one port was cancelled, we enjoyed an extra day at sea. As has always been the experience on Princess ships, the crew was very attentive & accommodating. The food was good & the service was very good. We had Anytime Dining & were seated in a timely manner on almost all evenings. The production numbers performed ...

Don't Believe Negative Reviews

Try not to put too much stock in negative reviews. Contrary to the opinion of some, Crown Princess does not seem at all "tired or worn" to me. Here's what I did see in my recent cruise. The ship is immaculately clean. The staff does a great job in the public areas as well as the cabins. I have been on several cruises on several cruise lines. I tend to gravitate to Princess because I like the ...

Our opinion is that Princess has been sliding downhill since being purchased by Carnival. The dinner menu is small with fewer choices and the food is getting worse. All but one meal that we had was overcooked and tough. It takes a lot to make corn on the cob tuff to chew. The good thing about Princess is they have the Medallion Services to simplify your cruise. For those that are saying we don't ...

Princess is great in many ways...

We always enjoy our Princess cruises. The captain felt that 3 of our ports on our southern 10 day were not safe due to weather conditions. They gave us 35% of our cost back to use toward our next booking! We also got a 75.00 credit per person for missing Princess Cayes. That was a wonderful gesture they were not obligated to make! The medallion is a great addition, although signal was weak in some ...
