Baseless Trepidation

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Crown Princess

Greetings from aboard the Crown Princess! We are on a 16-day cruise to Hawaii, RT San Francisco. I boarded the ship with great trepidation. The Cruise Critic comments about the ship and the itinerary caused me to think that perhaps we'd made a grave error in booking this cruise. However, that angst was put to rest the first day. While more traditional (vs. glitzy) in appearance, the ship ...

I’m writing this review because i wanted to say that my 3 servers were amazing. Nanna from thailand, Gary from Philippines, and Mauro from Columbia. They were amazing waiters and they told me if I wrote a review they would be able to get a promotion. I really hope they get their promotion. I think they really deserve it. They were wonderful. They made eating meals super fun and they were just so ...

I all ways wanted to go to a city in Mexico and I had heard that Encinada was a good city to visit I was not disappointed it was great. Email promotion from previous agent. Planned to have the cruise after a long busy working period, a very good way to relax. The check in and checked out were very fast, much better than those previous cruises we experienced before. the employees on the board were all very friendly, smiling and with sense of humor, feeling comfortable and at home when talking with them. The dinning room ...

Wonderful Holiday Cruise

A short Holiday cruise from our home port!! We did a Thanksgiving Cruise last year but it was only 4 days long, this one gave us an extra day and an overnight in Cabo. We parked in the cruise ship parking lot and pulled our suitcases up to the door - easy as one - two - three. Checked in within 20 minutes of getting there. We were on the ship at noon, it was great. Since we brought our luggage ...

My boyfriend and I decided to take his first cruise for MY upcoming birthday. This trip would be marking many firsts for him. We booked early and saved. We were upgraded almost a week after we put our deposit down. We purchased a interior cabin in the front of the ship and was upgraded to interior middle aft room. I was excited about the endless food options, boat experience and port excursions, ...

This is our 3rd cruise to Hawaii and the best. Loved the Crown Princess. It was well maintained and looked fresh. Serving staff were efficient, friendly and courteous. Although this was a medium to large ship with over 3000 passengers it never felt crowded. The entertainment, especially the Princess Theater Singers and Dancers, were excellent. Embarkation and debarkation were ...

This was our first cruise to Hawaii, and I hope it will not be our last!. We arrived at port early (before noon) but were able to board right away. Our cabin was very comfortable and spacious..we had upgraded to a mini-suite. The cabin steward was very attentive. We had excellent service in the Michaelangelo dining room every night. The head waiter held a table with our favorite waiter every ...

Love the sea days to read, chat with new friends, or share a drink at happy hour. Movies are available, as well as trivia games, classes on photography as well as jewelry and history lectures in the various rooms. Shopping is available on sea days along with "special sales". For those inclined the Casino is also open on sea days. Explore the islands at your own pace while returning to the ...

On April 23, 2016 we returned from the Crown’s 7 day CA Coastal cruise (SF, SB, SD, Ensenada) roundtrip from LA & our 2nd CA Coastal on the Crown in the past 6 months. Overall the service, food & entertainment were what we’ve enjoyed on other Princess cruises. Here are some observations about things that are regularly discussed on CC & are merely based on my experiences which are limited to what ...
