This is a forward cabin on the Caribe deck. It has a larger balcony than on the other decks. It was rainy for 5 of the 7 days we were on board, the balcony was usable most of the time. 40 knot winds and 15 foot seas on the first sea day proved that there is more motion forward than midships. 2 of our party were affected with motion sickness. Nice to see Bonine in the ship's store so we could replenish our supply. Cabin was a standard Princess configuration, neither better nor worse than expected. Linens, towels, etc were serviceable, but not exceptional. Our Cabin Steward Karen was a gem, best ever for friendliness and good humor. Read Less

I really don't know what category our cabin was. It was on the 14th floor and right below either the pool or buffet dining room. Some mornings I could hear chairs getting shuffled about for a minute. But I was already awake. The bed was comfortable. The room was too cold. We felt like we were in a deep freezer all week long. I always hesitate to complain about the temperature because it might turn out to be too hot then. Read Less

Cabin was ok. If you like to stay at Holiday Inn, it is on par with that - not terrible, but nothing special. The cabin does show its age, even though the ship was supposedly refurbished not long ago.

Average size balcony room. On the Baja deck (deck 10), the rooms are a bit smaller, but the balconys are deeper. This was the first bacony that we've had that was deep enough to accomodate a fully extended lounge. For me, I'd rather have the larger balcony space than a larger room. If you'd prefer a larger room, go for deck 9 or below. Read Less

Cabin was very clean. Three outlets - bring a small multiple extension for more plugins. Bedding was terrible - hard with middle sagging - request extra padding. Large balcony with two chairs and table. Location was great, mid-ship next to elevators and stairs. It does get noisy early in the morning with crew talking and laughing as the cabin is across from the crew's cleaning supply room. Read Less
