The cabin itself was designed well except for the bed which was positioned against the wall so one person will have a bit on an issue getting out. The cabin is designed with the cabinets in front of the beds so the bathroom is concealed behind. That way you dont wake up anyone if you open the bathroom door. Huge 50 inch tv. Very fluffy pillows and comfortable bed. Now comes the really really bad part. The cabins on the forward MidForward to Forward side on Plaza deck will hear huge banging sounds of the waves crashing against the side of the ship while the ship is cruising at fast speeds in 3 to 5 foot waves. The sound can be so loud at night that its like a car crashed into your room. Even the workers that sleep on the floor heard the noise. I spoke to the Engineers on board and they said different conditions can cause this sound. My issue is that on other ships I have never heard of this crashing problem near the forward section lower levels. Due to mixed reviews on the cabin I assume this problem is more in wavy oceans versus calm oceans. I cannot recommend this cabin for those that want a sound sleep. This only occurs during high speed sea days when captain needs to cover large area (like near 900 miles). Read Less

Price fell so we were upgraded from interior to oceanview on deck 5. We were worried that being right below the casino we would for sure need earplugs. Super quiet day and night!Bathroom very small and don't drop the soap 'cuz you can't bend over to pick it up in the shower!! Plenty of room to move around in the room and lots of storage space. The carpeting really needs to be replaced. Overall, it was a very relaxing room. Read Less

Oceanview window - always fogged up or wet but could make out waves, ships, etc. Queen bed configuration not suited for overhanging flanking bunk beds folded against wall that serve to beat the heck out of your head & back when trying to use the walk spaces. This designer gets an "F". Motor home bathroom, shower so tight, difficult to wash back - better be under 200# of might get stuck. Step down/up bathroom not fun when ship's rocking = potential accident. Good idea to have closet/dressing privacy. TV has only $1 movies or something to sell you, very limited but somewhat informative (NO WEATHER!?!?!?!)so when the Captain invaded our space with the bed overhead speaker, he always gave the wrong weather forecast. Even on rocky seas days, this forward room on Deck 5 was nice, even helped to sleep. Cracked sink & toilet seat. Odd to walk through art gallery (for sale again) to get to rooms. Read Less

Located low on floor 5 and very near to the centre of the ship and facilities. A good cabin for rough weather because you feltless movement but noisy in very rough seas (force 7 plus). There were 2 of us but the room could take 4 and the stowed bunks spoilt the overall look of the room and overhung the double bed at one side. The room was bland. The smallest and poorest cabin we have had with Princess. The window view was fine and the room was warm and cosy and well equipped. Overall the room did not spoil the experience. Read Less
