The “obstructed view” wasn’t obstructed at all. There was some equipment on the side of the window but it is a very large window and the location in the middle of the ship made things super convenient. We were just 1 floor up from Crooners Bar and The Plaza which is really the heart of the ship. I’d get this cabin again in a heartbeat. I will keep this floor and area in mind next cruise. Read Less

The beds need to be replaced. Ours was uncomfortable until I asked for a pillowtop for the mattress.

Our cabin location was terrific--right near the elevators on Deck 8 in the middle of the ship, so we could use the stairs most of the time to get where we wanted to go--down to the bars on Deck 7 or dinner on Deck 5 and 6. The "obstructed view" was between two lifeboats, but being the middle window of three, we had a clear view straight out from our cabin and could easily take pictures with no problems. A smart buy! Fairly snug but well laid out. Better view than we expected given it was restricted. Well air-conditioned. Bathroom fine. Overall happy with the cabin.

Our Cabin was toward the front and middle would have been better I think for the rough seas we had, but we did OK. It was a good size room. The cabin steward we had was a woman who often looked overly tired.

Clean cabin however smelled muggy/wet all the time. Bathroom smelled like public restroom. Beds very uncomfortable - saggy and plain out uncomfy.

Plenty of closet space, terrific hot shower and comfortable beds. Though no top sheet... weird!

This was a terrific cabin. There was a lifeboat outside our window which obstructed our view downward, but we could see across the top of it and see the shoreline--awesome. We sometimes heard far-away banging from an exterior/deck door on the floor below, but it didn't bother us since we weren't in the cabin much and slept soundly when we were. The banging was even louder in (and located just under) E425, which had a similar view. We didn't lose sleep over it, but it was quite obvious in E425. Our relatives stayed in E419 (even better view) and E417 (best view of the 4 cabins--not obstructed when looking straight out). Obviously these latter two rooms would also be preferable as they were further from that banging door on deck 7. Read Less
