I simply cannot complain. Since they flip the cabins for new embarkation passengers in a manner of hours, sometimes the cabins can smell a bit off, so I pack a mini reed diffuser and within an hour, the atmosphere changes. The mini-suite is our standard. The cabin appeared surface clean, but I requested the bathroom to receive an additional deep cleaning in my presence after we took possession of the cabin. The cloth fabric sofa hygienically bothered me, but I requested extra flat sheets so we could sit on them. Our cabin steward (Joseph) was good (but not excellent) did get a bit on our nerve with the strong scent of bleach cleaner coming through at 8:30 AM everyday. By day 8 he finally got the clue that we only needed and wanted full cabin service during the early PM after his break. Of all our cruising, this steward appeared to be the most irritating to us because he couldn’t service the cabin the way he wanted everyday. It was like he was being inconvenienced. I did appreciate his twice per day inquiry for any request and I appreciated just how hard and long he worked; we just didn't have that personal connection. Nevertheless, he was tipped well for the 20 days of service. The bed was simply float-me-way divine and the linen was over the top nicer than I ever imagined, yet the bath towels significantly lacked quality and just didn't measure up to the quality of the bed. We really liked the size and scale of the 2- flat panel TV's and although the content and programming was bit lacking, we did enjoy about 4 movies on the cruise that we hadn’t seen before. On longer cruises we now download our own movies on our external drive and then use a HMDI cable to connect to the flat panel TV to watch them. Read Less

Space was fine. Sofa was filthy with spots. After our report, they came to clean it on day 10th. Bathtub clogged since arrival, they fixed it on day 8th. Cabin steward was very good and we had fresh towels and ice, all the time.

The cabin was very good and spacious. The bed was uncomfortable with the extra topping that did not work. There was a constant feeling of falling put of bed.

This was one of the few mini suites with a roof on Emerald Deck. Most of the mini suites are on Dophin Deck with no roof and open to the elements. We loved the cabin -- no vibration or excessive movement or noise. The only downside is it involves a lot of walking since we were way aft. We were however close to our dining room and by elevator up to the buffet. Read Less

We enjoy the Mini-Suite - lots of extra room. We don't mind being on Dolphin Deck where other balconies overlook ours and where we might have sun all the time!

Some issues were covered in the general cruise review. I didn't mention stains that we found on walls. The cabin was comfortable and well maintained by the steward. Heating and AC responded appropriately as needed. A sink drain problem was easily fixed. The balcony door lock slipped open at night several times, likely due to the roll of the sea. Maintenance fashioned a removable wedge that resolved the issue. The ship's decor is showing its age. Hopefully, whenever Princess refits the ship they will not only fix the section of ceiling lights in the piazza that was out, but also modernize the cabin decor. Read Less
