Atlantic Crossing

Princess takes great care of suite passenger so we enjoyed breakfast in Sabatini's, club class dining, special room services menu items, priority spa reservations, room service on debarkation day and many other extras. We think the cabin price is worth it. We've never complained about quality of food on our many Princess cruises and this one was no exception. In fact, we thought food on this ...

We wanted to go to Ireland so we went a few days early to do a short tour of Ireland & then were able to see countries as we made our way to do the transatlantic crossing. The ship is old but everything worked. The cruise staff was great. Would have liked to hear more updates from the captain. We had to divert around hurricane so we missed 2 ports but better to be safe. Food was good. They ...

Good Cruise

Good Cruise but major work needed on embarkation and disembarkation. The current processes while in port are cumbersome and lead to long lines and long waits to return to the ship. One of the re-embarkation security stations actually brought cruisers back on board in the middle of Crooners Bar. Security stations when returning to the ship are undermanned with the line stopping each time ...

We took this cruise from Rome to Ft Lauderdale because it was a great price and I liked the stops. I wanted to see Barcelona. I was on my bucket list. It was quick and easy to get on but very slow getting off. I walk with a cane so I took a wheelchair which sped up the process. Our cabin E623 was obstructed view. It had plenty of space for 2.womens clothes. We took anytime dining and ...

I have been sailing on Princess for my last 8 cruises. I have found a cruise line that is comfortable for me. This TA from Rome to Fort Lauderdale was chosen for the dates and for a Rome departure. Prior to sailing, I had read complaints re the Crown Princess as to bad entertainment, food and ship condition .Cruise director, Angela was always present and provided lots of fun activities, ...

I chose this cruise because it was going where I wanted to go at the time I wanted to go. I cruised on the Crown Princess from Rome to Ft. Lauderdale. My friend and I had a balcony cabin on the Baja deck. I found the balcony cabin to be smaller than other cruise lines I have traveled on. The beds were in twin position and were hardly separated enough to walk between. There was no sofa and ...

I chose this cruise because I wanted to do a Trans Atlantic Crossing. The crossing was fun and relaxing at the same time. The cruise staff were outstanding. I enjoyed the food very much. There was always a great selection and something for everyone. We dined at the steak house which was very good and I would do this again. Our ports of call were amazing. We stopped in Madeira Portugal, ...

Good cruise - Cartegena was the big wonderful surprise.

Overall Cruise was great, Staff was, as usual, friendly and helpful. The ship needed a little more time in dry dock. Water ( no hot), and flushing of toilets was an annoying problem. You took all the blankets off the ship! . I hate duvets for the beds and our steward could not give us light blankets!! Internet was very troublesome and slow with bad connections. The walking tour in ...

Excellent ports of call, but ship's condition was disappointing.

The ship was brought into service, directly from a week of dry dock repairs, and it was pressed into service before the repairs were completed. We waited two hours in the terminal for embarkation to commence while last minute, crucial repairs were conducted. In addition, there were engineers and technicians all over the ship running cables, installing carpet, grinding metal, painting, and making ...

Cruise to the Mediterranean on the Crown Princess

We've wanted to do another transatlantic cruise and also wanted to go to the Mediterranean. This was the perfect situation. Since the ship had just returned from dry dock and had some ongoing issues with maintenance while we were sailing, it wasn't a trip without some problems onboard. For example, elevators out of service sporadically and operation was occasionally unreliable. We were stuck on an ...
