We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, ticking off our bucket list. The embankment was quick and we were on board and in our cabin in no time, although princess did text us before the cruise saying there maybe long waits but this was not the case for us.
A very relaxing cruise with lots of sea days. Argentina and Brazil were well worth seeing we took princess organised trips which ...
All was excellent. The cabin, the entreteinment and the food. We felt so happy to join this cruise. The ports where so interesting. We bought some tous on board. We stayed alone at some other ports. And we hired an independent tour agency and guide in other ports like Buenos Aires (big city!!!ports -
-punta arenas and ushuaia tours were fine, but scenery was old hat to those of us lucky enough ...
I'm 'just' reading reviews from fellow cruisers, and I 'feel' I must add my .02 for 'you' to read.
I LOVED this cruise. (I'm a BIG OFTEN done this a 'lot' cruiser)....We were very lucky to be able to tender and arrive at all ports scheduled for this trip on time, etc. The weather was what was to be expected for this part of the world. We brought 'meds' for rough seas, but really these were ...
Sailing around Cape Horn in South America in January sounded like fun: got a good rate for a balcony cabin, so off I went on CROWN PRINCESS.
Medical emergency made us 1 day behind on the itinerary and weather was also an issue between high winds lowering the river level to get into Buenos Aires to berths non available for 1 day delay. Not Princess' fault - no one's fault. Still, the CROWN crew ...
The Crown Princess needs some work. IE: Paint, repairs etc. That being said the crew (nearly everyone) we came in contact with were fabulous, friendly, helpful, informative, polite, & accommodating. Food overall was the best we have ever had with Princess on a longer than 7 day cruise. Local entertainment that joined us in several ports were great. Though the music was very good we need more on ...
We have cruised with Princess enough times to get to Elite status which indicates we have been very pleased with the cruise line.
This one gave us the opportunity to see several cities and country for the first time. We were blessed with good weather aside from a few windy days.
We had traditional dinning times and very impressed with the 2 fellows looking after us, Oliver and Jeffery. The ...
Despite the fact we both got colds and there was a mild Noro outbreak we had a wonderful time.Hand washing and common sense are a must on a contained area for long periods of time As to those afraid of Noro, it happens on land to...
The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, the shows were not tip top but we enjoyed them. The food was very good, our favorites were Leonardo's and the Crown ...
We are frequent Princess cruisers with over 15 cruises in the past. Overall, it was a very nice cruise. Although we have noticed changes in quality over the years, we enjoyed the food and service.
The biggest problem was at check in in Ft. Lauderdale. The lines were horrendous. We waited over 2 hours while other people waited up to 4 hours. This cruise required a Brazil visa and a permit for ...
After being dropped by the hotel shuttle at Fort Lauderdale early for embarkation as this was the only shuttle, we waited for just over an hour for the doors to open. We were processed after a little delay which extended to hours by the time many passengers were trying to embark.
Our cabin was spacious and well laid out with plenty of hanging space.
We had chosen my time dining and after four ...
This cruise made us realize just how diverse South America is. After taking the Pacific Princess107 day World Cruise in 2012, we knew we would enjoy this long cruise. The mixture of big cities, important events, variety of temperatures, wildlife, and small towns made this an ever-interesting cruise. We resisted the temptation to go off-ship for several days and instead enjoyed the shipboard ...
