Everything ran late!

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Beethoven

Everything on this cruise ran late, from embarkation to disembarkation. At first we were told it was due to the low water level at Danube and things will be back to normal once we leave the Danube. But we never caught up with the schedule. We skipped a port - Passau. Waited for the boat to show up 3 times after shore excursions - once for 1.5 hours at an industrial yard. Ate dinner at 9 pm ...

This was our first canal/river cruise and we had a wonderful time. It was fully inclusive of all tours, meals and drinks with meals and a good choice of drinks from the bar at other times. The staff of six were wonderful and made sure everyone was well looked after. We were early at the port but we were invited to board and given a nice cocktail while waiting for the rest of the passengers to ...

A lovely cruise on a smaller ship

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Symphonie

We chose it because it was a smaller, more intimate ship, and guests were mainly from France, Spain and the UK which made for a better experience. Our Cruise Director, Jose was extremely attentive and helpful, as was our English speaking ( and indeed multi lingual guide ) Sarah, both of whom made the whole cruise a delight. All the crew were friendly and polite and the waiters and waitresses were ...

Our Wonderful CroisiEurope “Meandering Seine” Cruise For our 40th anniversary my wife & I just did a CroisiEurope 6 night cruise in northern France. Our first cruise ever. We’ve lived abroad [outside the U.S.] for 15 years. I’m a 20+ year 1K with United. We can be picky travelers. But, our cruise was absolutely lovely. We’re already looking for our Croisi cruise for next year. Some finer ...

NEVER AGAIN

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Renoir

I will start with one positive comment (it will be downhill after that). The cabin was roomy with good storage space and in pretty good condition. The food was school-dinner standard. I sent back many a full plate (which I don't normally do) - nasty textures, bland etc. Apart from the very last day when the chef pulled something out of the bag – a clever move I guess – hoping the last lunch and ...

Really needs a refurbish

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Seine Princesse

This riverboat was last refurbished in 2011 and really could do with a new refurbishment. It is looking tired. WiFi is free, but doesn't work most of the time. The cabin had no drawers, only shelves and a couple of very narrow wardrobes. The heating was virtually non-existent, OK when the sun was shining through the window, but the cabin was cold otherwise. Sofas in the public room are leather, ...

A memorable four nights on the Seine - Le Havre to Paris

Review for a France Cruise on Renoir

We had never been on a European river cruise before and chose this one for its brevity, just four nights. We were very happy with our choice and heartily recommend Croisieurope to travelers seeking affordable luxury plus top-flight service. The Renoir was refurbished to a very high standard in 2018 and it shows—comfortable beds, a ship-shape bathroom, lots of clever storage, individual climate ...

We took the cruise “From the Châteaux of Chambord and Chenonceau to the Loire Valley” Sep/12 - Sep/18 Just some dry stats Time spent sailing: 16 hours Time spent on excursions: 20 hours Time spent in the bus: 24 hours Time spent on a boat at the dock: 61 hours The planning department of the company could have done a much better job. So little time sailing and so much time on a ...

The Only Way to Travel the Rivers and Canals of France - Barge Hotel

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Raymonde

This barge hotel cruise on and along the Marne river was absolutely fantastic! It is by far the most relaxing way to travel I've ever experienced. Plenty of on board activities from which to choose during the cruising portion. Interesting daily excursions to learn of the local history, observe a different way of life and take in all that France has to offer. The crew were very attentive and ...

Excellent alternative for Cruising Vacation

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Cyrano de Bergerac

User Avatar

Chose this cruise for (1) all inclusive and no nickel and diming us; (2) biking excursions to offset the awesome French food, and (3) size of ship with 174 passengers. A+ on all 3 reasons for going with CroisiEurope, and specifically the biking excursion alternative. Cabin and services were good, finding more room than I anticipated. Also appreciated that our window fully opened to watch as ...
