We were offered an exceptional deal on this cruise and having done lots of ocean cruises and always considering a river cruise, it was too good a deal to miss.
The good parts: there are only a total of 180 people on board if the ship is full. The meals an a reasonable selection of drinks are included and tours may be included.
The staff do a variety of jobs, so working in the bar, cleaning, ...
Decided on CroisiEurope for my first river cruise - 5 nights roundtrip from Vienna.
Cabin
I went for a cabin on the top deck and was glad I did. Beds were really comfortable and the room was very well appointed with floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was fairly basic and quite small but it did the job.
Dining
There is one dining room with allocated tables for the entire voyage. ...
I have been wanting to cruise the Danube and Rhine rivers so when this reasonably priced 9 day CroisiEurope cruise came up I booked it for me and my husband. This cruise line is not one of the more popular ones so I did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious and very clean cabin on the main deck. The window was so wide offering panoramic views of the passing river ...
I was travelling with my 90 year old father. It was our second cruise on a Croisieurope ship.
The first one was river cruise from Strasbourg on MS Princesse Sissi back in 2007.
I have been cruising on Paul Gauguin, Crystal, Azamara and Seabourn lines quite a few times since.
For this Vienna to Vienna 8 day cruise we arrived one day prior to the start of the cruise. We stayed 2 days after ...
My husband and I have some extended holiday time this year so we wanted to spend some of this time traveling out of the UK (where we live temporarily- we are from the US) to Europe. I thought this would be a great chance to check out a river cruise, which we have never done before, although we have done many ocean cruises. My perception of river cruises are - they are long, expensive, and ...
This was our second Croisi Cruise.
The first was for 5 nights out of Bordeaux. Fabulous French food and relaxed itinerary. Just 8 English speakers 2 Americans and 6 Australians
We have started mixing a short cruise between busy land tours for R and R
Eastern Europe overland 14 days- CROISI cruise 8 days -Russia and the Baltic States 14 days
We were aware of low river levels ...
We came upon this cruise through the tour company we use in Los Angeles and decided to join. We embarked in Passau, Germany and meandered through one of the most beautiful rivers in the world to Budapest, Hungary.
Our cabin was a tad small particularly the bathroom, but it served the purpose. We were well taken care of by the crew members and were specially pleased with the fine dining ...
Having done a river cruise last year we thought that we would try another one & consequently we went on this one.
Embarkation went very smoothly, although some passengers who flew from the U K arrived too early to get on the boat (boarding from 4 pm) & were "dumped" in a hotel in Porto in very hot conditions 4 hours before they could board. This is hardly a good way to start a holiday as some of ...
The ship was nice, cosy and well kept.
Good organization of the space in the cabin with more closets. The equipment and air conditioning in the cabin were well functioning. The acoustic isolation and hygiene in the room was good. The illumination inside the cabin was correct. The cabin and the catering staff were very kind and efficient but insufficient.
Interesting shore excursions, but ...
This is the second time we've sailed with CroisiEurope as a result of booking the holiday from Archers/Cosmos and for the price it's very good, ok the cabins are small ish (but how much time do you spend in them). The food was very enjoyable, although it was a fixed menu, but it made us try dished we wouldn't normally try which is all part of the holiday experience. A reasonable quality wine (free ...
