I'm not sure why they call this "low season" - we barely saw a drop of rain in a week! We joined the cruise just north of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for a week-long trip to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The ship is 22 cabins and is able to take you all the way into the city, which was so convenient! The ship has a period feel, with lots of polished wood and brass fittings. Our cabin was on the upper deck towards the prow. Plenty of room for clothes and suitcases, it felt very spacious. The bathroom was small, but had everything we needed, including some welcome cabinets above the sink. We couldn't fault the food. Breakfast and lunch were buffets, with plenty of variety over the course of the week, including Cambodian & Vietnamese curries, as well as pasta and even roast pork! The excursions were awesome and the guides excellent. In one week we: saw the sun set over the flooded plains of central Cambodia; rode in an ox cart; visited a 200 year old Pagoda; tasted snake wine in Vietnam and saw the stunning Vinh Tran Pagoda. The crew were all extremely warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't recommend this cruise or ship highly enough! Read Less

We had an awesome time the crew were fantastic, the food exceptional, the shore excursions diverse and interesting. the cabin was small with twin beds but comfortable didn't need to be any bigger. we had an English speaking guide that went on the shore excursions with us which was very helpful. The ship was a good size not to big which made it quite intimate and suited us perfectly with lots of areas to sit and relax outside. the meals were 3 course and very diverse with something for everyone's tastes. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone that likes to take in the local culture, if your the kind of traveler who likes to sit in air-conditioned comfort and be waited on then this is probably not the right cruise for you, but on the other hand if you want to experience the Vietnamese and Cambodian rural areas then don't hesitate. It was awesome and would do again. Read Less
