Not the best river cruise

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Victor Hugo

The ship was spotless and the crew was great. This is a French company and most of the guests were French. There were Americans ans Brits also on the cruise. The room was very small but I assume that since the ship traveled canals and went through very narrow canals things had to be tight. The public rooms were really nice and spacous. For non Euopeans, all the tours were included. After we left ...

The ship itself was nice and clean. Our cabin was a decent size. The beds were extremely comfortable!! We had the upper French balcony. The food was excellent except for the breakfast. There were either very soupy scrambled eggs or boiled. I thought there would be more pastries. There just wasn't much variety. We went in april-the Amsterdam to Antwerp cruise. Really did not enjoy any of the ...

Upon arrival we were met by the purser who was pleasant and gave us a very warm greeting. I knew we might be in for somewhat of a ...

Good Value, But Frustrating

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Lafayette

The cruise was directed towards French senior citizens. The ship staff tried hard, but were not especially well trained. Their language skills were impressive and they were personable. The ship crew (serving, cleaning, mechanical) were uniformly cordial and helpful. For persons wanting to explore on their own, the staff had little information. They did not know the docking locations or sometimes, ...
