Review for Carnival Triumph to Caribbean - Eastern

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

This was my 1st cruise, approx Jan 25 or 26, 2018 for a late birthday present and a friends wedding. Carnival Triumph will be the Carnival Sunrise starting later this year. As my review title states, I hated it!!!! I was sick from the time I got on until I left, even though I was taking dramamine since I got sick. Actually 5 / 8 of us were sick. We stood outside in the cold for longer than ...

Chose for two ports of Cozumel and Costa Maya. This was the smallest boat in their fleet, and while uncrowded, was terrible in the rough seas we encountered 3 of the 5 days. Missed the port of Costa Maya due to swells of the sea and unable to dock. Cozumel was a lot fun and best day of the trip. Food at dinner in main dining was very good, Windjammer has many selections but basically same ...

Amazing Cruise

I chose Royal Caribbean because they offer a lot of activities on their ships. This time we took The Oasis of the Seas out of Ft Lauderdale. Boarding the ship was quick and efficient. I preordered by wi-fi and was given the access code with my key room. *If you are interested in Wi-Fi, preorder it. The cruise line gave a 30%-40% discount. The ship is huge, it holds 6,000 passengers. Normally ...

This trip was my 2nd cruise with Carnival, the first was Ecstasy in January 2005. My daughters and I take an annual girls trip and this was our 11th year, so we wanted to do something special and include the grandchildren 6 & 9, and have everyone be able to enjoy the trip. This fit the bill, somewhat. The pros for cruising on family vacation were no driving around looking for something to do, ...

So, we just got off or ship yesterday, with me and my husband and 4 kids. *The embarkation process on the ship went very fast. We actually boarded earlier then we were supposed too. *Once on the ship, the kids were amazed! They were so excited. Nothing had changed since the last time I was on the Elation. I hear they are dry docking it in September but not sure if they are going to make any ...

* I decided to book this last minute cruise for my husband's birthday. I read all the reviews and set our expectations prior to boarding. Check-in process was fast, our rooms were ready when we boarded (12:30pm) and our luggage made it to our rooms prior to leaving the dock. The main entry was quite cramped and I felt claustrophobic however I was not spending much time there so it really did not ...

Spring break 2014

Review for Carnival Paradise to Caribbean - Eastern

After booking airfare for springbreak and a hotel and car rental, we looked into a cruise instead. It was 300.00 cheaper to cruise not including FOOD. So we just returned from the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa. It is a smaller ship which we tend to like. However, we have to say, the food was TERRIBLE. (the buffett by pool was acceptable) the dining room, NOT SO MUCH. Everything else was typical ...
