Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

I take a cruise around Halloween with a large group of singles via a company that specializes in this type of trip. I had never been to New Orleans and a few tips there: taxi or Uber is fastest but also most expensive so use the airport shuttle if time is not an issue. As for the city visit the old, whole in the wall places if you want a real taste of New Orleans cuisine and sample the ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

5 day cruise to Cozemel and Key West on the Celebrity Constellation on March 14. Embarkation was relatively quick. Only delay was after checking in, had to get in second line to have picture taken for ship card. Why this could not be done all at once at check in as most do slowed the process. Had an Aqua Class cabin on Deck 9. Cabin was well organized, very clean and well maintained. Jaime, the ...

Fun!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

Living 30 minutes from Port Tampa makes this a great and affordable cruise. The ship is definitely "dated", especially with some of the big cruise liners available. I found it to be nostalgic. The ship itself was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. Especially the entertainment, bar and wait staff. The rooms were tiny. The beds were no so comfortable. The AC in the cabins was ...

First time cruising was a fun experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Vision of the Seas

This was my first cruise and enjoyed most of the time on the cruise. The food was great at the cafe and the dining room, as well as certain meals at the buffet. As a football fan, I was glad I did not miss my team play on the big screen by poolside. Our first port was Key West and we did a wave runner tour which was a lot of fun. Eating local and good food is important to us and we found some ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I just returned from the carnival sunshine cruise Oct. 4, 2014. This was my first cruise and I must say I had a great time. The cruise ship was adequate. I have to voice my opinion about the slippery Lido deck. I heard that a lot of people fell because of the deck being slippery at all times. The deck leading into the buffet was also slippery at all times. I fell on the last day after trying to be ...

So, we just got off or ship yesterday, with me and my husband and 4 kids. *The embarkation process on the ship went very fast. We actually boarded earlier then we were supposed too. *Once on the ship, the kids were amazed! They were so excited. Nothing had changed since the last time I was on the Elation. I hear they are dry docking it in September but not sure if they are going to make any ...

RELAXING CRUISE BUT NOT MUCH ELSE

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Vision of the Seas

We have done many cruises on RCI but this latest one was for relaxation only. The Boarding process was quick and smooth. We had to wait until 1:30 to get into our cabin. Once in the cabin we expected a small room and it was. The Ocean view was good. The shower was small. You sure won't say "Honey join me". The bed was not soft and comfortable. There are NO MOVIES showing in the cabin TV. Before ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Paradise

* I decided to book this last minute cruise for my husband's birthday. I read all the reviews and set our expectations prior to boarding. Check-in process was fast, our rooms were ready when we boarded (12:30pm) and our luggage made it to our rooms prior to leaving the dock. The main entry was quite cramped and I felt claustrophobic however I was not spending much time there so it really did not ...

Spring break 2014

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Paradise

After booking airfare for springbreak and a hotel and car rental, we looked into a cruise instead. It was 300.00 cheaper to cruise not including FOOD. So we just returned from the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa. It is a smaller ship which we tend to like. However, we have to say, the food was TERRIBLE. (the buffett by pool was acceptable) the dining room, NOT SO MUCH. Everything else was typical ...
