Cozumel to the Western Caribbean Carnival Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

I take a cruise around Halloween with a large group of singles via a company that specializes in this type of trip. I had never been to New Orleans and a few tips there: taxi or Uber is fastest but also most expensive so use the airport shuttle if time is not an issue. As for the city visit the old, whole in the wall places if you want a real taste of New Orleans cuisine and sample the ...

I traveled with a good friend of mine on Carnival Liberty for their October 27th - October 31st Cruise to Cozumel. This was my third cruise with Carnival, and my friend's first cruise with Carnival. I had a good experience with my previous cruises so didn't expect the numerous problems we faced on this one. It made me feel embarrassed to have recommended we take this cruise-line for our ...

We did this cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary. We picked this cruise because 2 of our kids, not actually but we adopted them anyway, were working on this ship. We are not fans of the Western Caribbean and haven't been there in several years but since our friends were on this ship the itinerary was not important. Embarkation went smoothly as usual but that may be because we are platinum level ...

Definitely get what you pay for. The cruise ship is outdated and randomly smells like sewer. I stayed in an interior room on the Empress deck and it was just grungy (Hair on our bedding, urine still in the toilet). We booked this cruise last minute because the price was so low and after the trip, I see why. The food was good, but the service in the main dining room was not up to par with the ...

We had a great time.. Truly enjoyed this cruise.. We are Platinum and this was our 2nd time on the Paradise. We were traveling with our Brother & Sister in law for their 1st cruise. We had a blast and I think we got them hooked on cruising too... The weather was a little cloudy but that did not stop our fun.. in either port.. We had great food and great service .. The ship was nice & clean. We did ...

This was the second cruise that my husband and I have taken... This time we took a great friend along and it was a great experience!!! Food was amazing....Our waiter name was Irving I think ( table 308 in the inspiration dining room) I can't say enough about him .... My friend is gluten free and he made her food bread, chocolate molting cake and went above and beyond to make her dinners so ...

I generally don't return to cruise critic after a cruise and I, and my family, are relatively tolerant of imperfection. I have been a member since 2004 and been on a fair number of cruises, most in suites and more on NCL than Carnival. I have to say there is no comparison if you are in a suite. Do not waste the large amount of extra money, particularly on Paradise, for a suite. In order to get a ...

Living 30 minutes from Port Tampa makes this a great and affordable cruise. The ship is definitely "dated", especially with some of the big cruise liners available. I found it to be nostalgic. The ship itself was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. Especially the entertainment, bar and wait staff. The rooms were tiny. The beds were no so comfortable. The AC in the cabins was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I just returned from the carnival sunshine cruise Oct. 4, 2014. This was my first cruise and I must say I had a great time. The cruise ship was adequate. I have to voice my opinion about the slippery Lido deck. I heard that a lot of people fell because of the deck being slippery at all times. The deck leading into the buffet was also slippery at all times. I fell on the last day after trying to be ...

This review will be short and to the point(s). Food: If you enjoy Steak and Shake, you will be safe on this ship in the Main dining rooms. For buffet and the rest of the locations, just be happy you get full. The quality of the food on the ship is mediocre. My favorite place to eat was the Mongolian Wok out on the Lido deck. I didn’t try out room service though. Entertainment: I never have seen ...
