This is a good ship if you are either looking for or a budget cruise or a first time cruise. If you are a regular traveller on cruises then to be honest I think you will be a bit disappointed. The public areas are really well set out and the staff try their best. The food is mediocre. The entertainment is a bit of a let down. We had 2 excellent acts on our tours but the other nights were not ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Costa Deliziosa

We wished to do a Transatlantic with interesting stops rather than an A . B We were happy to go on the Deliziosa as we were satisfied with our 2 previous cruises After reading the Carnival annual report for 2016 some of the sub standard services on this cruise were inevitable The company is cutting costs to maintain profitability. The embarkation in Venice was the usual Costa shambles ...

The sinking of Costa Concordia in 2012 must have taken to the bottom of the sea the whole company rather than just one vessel since cruising with them today it's rather like flying with Ryan air: whatever you do you get charged. We are quite accustom to cruising as we must have had at least one cruise every year for the past 10 years,(last one in november 2016) and we accept to pay extra for ...

This cruise was spotted by my other half and was arranged by an agent who did a superb job and as the holiday included 2 days in Venice before sailing they arranged a great hotel (Hilton Garden, Mestre) and unbelievably good transfers from airport to hotel, hotel to port and port to airport (Acampora Venice, super cars, absolutely top service) and the Easy Jet flights were exactly that. Cruise ...

NEVER AGAIN. We paid more for a suite on this ship than the two level suite on Oasis. This suite pales in comparison- as a matter of fact it is the size of- and actually is-a handicap balcony- not suite. The suite amenities include a "mini bar of your choice". No- it is a mini bar of their choice- OK- but an Italian cruise line sailing in Italy has no red or white wine in the mini bar- None! The ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Mediterranea

We choose our cruises by itineraries and desired destinations since little time is spent in a room. The Mediterranea food is average to poor. Dinner menus are fine in that they offer more than you would ever cook at home, although seafood was less than normal, no treats like crab, lobster or escargot. We understood the line is largely Italian and that was a plus for us. The partying element they ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Mediterranea

Costa Mediterranea (Venice/Croatia/ Montenegro/Kefalonia/Corfu) Costa not as good as Royal Caribbean. Decoration is very gaudy/loud/not matching (don’t know who their interior decorator was but I wouldn’t have him in my bathroom never mind house) – except for the Osiris & Isobella theatre . We paid for the AI package which we felt was prob worth it when you consider you have to pay for ...

Costa Mediterranea Eastern Mediterranean October 2015.  It can be very difficult to get a picture of a cruise line by reading cruise reviews. People experience the same thing but their opinions can differ. The case of Costa might be the the most confusing of them all since reviews are so diverse when it comes to this particular company.  Does Costa offer a really nice cruise experience, or ...
