2 weeks sailing from Singapore 17/12/19 to 30/12/19. Paid extra over Christmas (nearly $5000 AUD. And so it went as follows: Air conditioning not working in cabin. No soap in cabin..had to ask for a $5000 cake of soap. mediocre room cleaning. No clean sheets for 2 weeks. Evacuation drill was a confused mess with no communication or guidance from staff. We chose this cruise because we happened to be going from Singapore to Rome. The price was outstanding, so despite the generally poor reviews, we tried Costa.
Shazaam!...now we’re big Costa fans! The ship is good, but the crew is amazing. Costa (or at least the Fortuna) clearly has the secret sauce recipe for keeping its crew (apparently) happy and very highly effective.

Costa Fortuna Cruise max passenger capacity is 3,200 and thus not that huge to handle with around 1,100 crew members. Ship layout easy to understand and staff very easy to handle your technical or hospitality issues. 98% of the crew do their job with love and passion and are well trained to handle difficult demanding passengers .

Chose this cruise due to outstanding places, visiting Singapore, Bangkok, Khuala Lampur, Phuket, Langkawi, Penang, Ko Samui, Sinahoukville. All were great places to visit with lots of temple, artifact, great people and fabulous food.
Best of all, Bangkok. A city so vibrant, lots of cafes and restaurant in every corner with so many dishes to choose from, its an unbelievable city.
