10+ Cruises

2 weeks sailing from Singapore 17/12/19 to 30/12/19. Paid extra over Christmas (nearly $5000 AUD. And so it went as follows: Air conditioning not working in cabin. No soap in cabin..had to ask for a $5000 cake of soap. mediocre room cleaning. No clean sheets for 2 weeks. Evacuation drill was a confused mess with no communication or guidance from staff. No help from staff to put on life vests as ...

I chose this cruise because it was advertised so well, sounded fantastic and went to places we had not been. It was really disappointing on our second night at first seating for dinner I found a hair in my dessert, I received no apology, never heard if anything was said or done about this apart from being given another dessert, which I did not eat. The food in the buffet was always the same, no ...

First Time Cruiser

It was fitting to my choice of the ports, countries and my time. That was the reason I buy this cruise. But will never again on this ship. Generally the cabin (room) for me as being a hotelier for 40 years was ok. We had booked balcony cabin and thanks god I did it. By chance we were on the buffet restaurant level. It was almost impossible to find a seat in the restaurant so we were bringing ...

My wife and I booked a back to back cruise around South East Asia with Costa for their cheap balcony pricing and attractive port itinerary. We read a lot of mediocre at best reviews of Costa and decided to give them a chance in hopes we would have good luck. Upon arrival to Singapore we were immediately upset with the logistics of the cruise line. We stood in line for two hours to embark only to ...

This cruise offered an amazing itinerary staying in Singapore before sailing to Thailand Vietnam Hong Kong China Taiwan and ending with a stay in Tokyo but it was terrible... the lack of organisation and entertainment... even the TV showed just 3 films which repeated on a loop over the 19 nights. The room was the best thing about trip and was kept clean unlike the rest of the ship. General areas ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the chaos of embarkation should of forewarned us of what was to come. We pre booked an all inclusive drinks package and this was printed on our cabin card which was already in our cabin. Unfortunately every time we ordered a drink the package did not work so after 2 days and several trips to guest services the card was replaced. I was told "you ...

If you want the Ryanair of sailing - Go with Costa Cruises. We had hoped for a trip of a lifetime but experienced the opposite. Even before we left the UK we were provided wrong information by Costa Cruises & Iglu Cruises regarding the requirement to have a full Chinese visa to visit Shenzhen. Arriving to board the ship in Singapore, we had to wait for over three hours in hot conditions with no ...

I first chose this cruise for the ports it was stopping at, what a mistake, the embarkation at Singapore should have told me what was to come ... how can it take 4 hours to board a ship ! .. the room was good, a good size with a shower room and bath room ? .. that’s the end of good I’m afraid. From the 3 film loop the tv was set on, a girl can only have so much of x men (7 times) to the 2 pea size ...

We chose this cruise because we happened to be going from Singapore to Rome. The price was outstanding, so despite the generally poor reviews, we tried Costa. Shazaam!...now we’re big Costa fans! The ship is good, but the crew is amazing. Costa (or at least the Fortuna) clearly has the secret sauce recipe for keeping its crew (apparently) happy and very highly effective. Here’s some ...

Costa Fortuna Cruise max passenger capacity is 3,200 and thus not that huge to handle with around 1,100 crew members. Ship layout easy to understand and staff very easy to handle your technical or hospitality issues. 98% of the crew do their job with love and passion and are well trained to handle difficult demanding passengers . I recommend 1 crew from the bar Vietnamese Ngoc Tuan Vo ...
