I chose this cruise due to the itinerary because I had already done other cruises on the Mediterranean and I didn't want to repeat the same ports. The ship is new and very beautiful. However the pools are small and there are only two jacuzzis. In the cabin (I bought two cabins with a balcony) there is no fridge (first ship I see this!). Overall the staff was great and always willing to help and super friendly. The ship was clean and the food was pretty food
However, the first time on a cruise we did not know what to expect.
Unless you are at the buffet/free restaurant at specified times. Be prepared to pay for everything. Including water by the bottle.

This 3 week old ship was a disappointment compared to Costa Diadema (commenced service 2014) and other older Costa ships I’ve cruised on.

The good: (1) It is a lovely and HUGE ship. Well designd lovely interiors. And because it is so big, people get "difused" among different areas (2) One particularly great idea, their "kitchen lab".
